Battery drain

I put in a fully charged fairly new battery in the nemesis clone and locked it down with no coil attached. The next day the battery was down to having to recharge it. I do have a kick installed but that shouldn't matter. I'm not sure why the battery went down so fast.

I been having bad luck with batteries lately, anyone have some input?

Assuming you do not have a short to ground with your mech/kick combo... then you have a faulty battery.
If you have a DMM - as every intelligent mech/rba vapist should - and not assuming anything... then you can fairly easily diagnose which of the three items is contributing to the over-rapid discharge.
