Guys is there anyone out there who really understands batteries who could post a sticky?

I'm quite sure batteries are confusing to most people? Or is it just me?

Some are long, short, fat, slim.
Some are 3v. 3.6. 3.7. and so on.
The mah is confusing.
The long number relating to the battery is confusing.

I think the best thing to do is to have some one post the best batteries for each common stick.

For example the JS comes with two slim 3.7v batteries i think at 350mAH.
is there a better battery?

The silver bullet comes with a 1600mAH 3.7v ...

What are the best 3volt batteries or RC123A?

Could someone post a comprehensive list of best batts for each stick?

I got the "Long Number" part down... 14440 means 14mm x 44mm with a 'O' shape.....

My question would be with two 3.7v batteries - how do you get 5v or 6v?

Well if you wire the batts in parallel the volts stay the same, in series it doubles to 7.2v so you would want to use resistors or a regulator.

and fresh of the charger they are 4.2 volts.. so two in in series would be 8.4 volts..

the mah figure is usually an exaggeration.. the claimed voltage an under estimate.. just a figure somewhere on the way from fully charged to flat

fully charged 4.2 volt.. 2.7 volt flat.. the claimed 3.7 volts is just an estimated halfway point..
