Hi, I am on a very tight budget first off. Ok my very first setup I went to a local shop and they sold me a ego-c twist with and ce4 well let just say i went back to the 808's. I went back to the local shop and they said maybe get a different tank like this pro tank mini we have here for only $21.99. I said well why didn't u tell me that when i was here the first time. Well i didn't get it at the shop but i found in on ebay for $12.49. Well what a differnce. My question is what for be a better battery for the protank mini than the ego-c twist and remember i am on a budget and I do like the VV option because some of my juice vapes better at different volts....Thanks

You didn't say what mAh your Ego Twist is. A higher mAh Twist (1000 mah) or Spinner (1300 mah) will last longer than a 650 mah Ego. Any Twist or Spinner will allow any juice attachment to perform well, whether its a Protank or not. Batteries all put out the same range of power (voltage) necessary to power juice attachments. The differences in flavor production and vapor production have more to do with the juice attachment than the battery device.

For the ego size, I've enjoyed my Innokin iTaste vv v3. $30-40 on ebay and various reputable online stores. This will keep the ego size if you like it but add variable voltage/wattage and a resistance checker that's handy if you ever start rebuilding your Kanger coils.

If you want to add longer battery life and aren't afraid to try something a little larger, check out the Innokin MVP2. I actually just bought one from VapingMe.com for $35.19 shipped (they're currently out of stock, but will restock soon I'm sure). This will give you the same variable wattage/voltage controls as the VV, but will have just over 3x the battery life. I don't have mine in hand yet but most people seem pretty happy with it.
