Battery for SID eCig

I recently purchased a SmokTech SID vape, and I absolutely love it. Im currently using an eFest 18650 2000mAh battery. Ive tried researching through the site and cant find the answer im looking for so hopefully someone here can help me. Is there a battery with a higher mAh rating that will fit properly in the SID vape. Im scared to order one and it not fit properly, so if someone can help me out id greatly appreciate it. Thanks

When u got it did u have any issues with the screen just going blank (without setting it as that) but it'd still fire? Just got mine in the mail yesterday and I'm so bummed out. Hoping it was just the batt. On top of that, everything I have tried smoking on it tastes burnt.. This is my first mod ever, been vaping for bout 2 months now n regretting getting this mod already. Hope it proves me wrong .The post above (picture) I saved kuz I was looking for different batts also. Hope it helps. I wouldn't know how to find the exact forum again if I tried .

I didnt have any problems with the display no. But i know there is a setting to fully turn the display off. I would try contacting who you ordered it from and telling them this problem. Because it really is a great mod... I hope this doesn't turn you off from the SID. Cuz I'm super stoked on it... Sorry if none of this helps you, but i would suggest contacting the dealer ASAP

Guess it was just my inexperience lol. It's working great now. Might have vapor's tongue tho which is why everything tasted like crap or my taste buds just aren't digging the banana liquid id vape on a constant bases. Oh wells. On to the next one!! The Sid is great though. Thanks for ur help!

Any good IMR, safe chemistry battery, flat top should be fine, and with the protections built into the SID, would be best, imho. I like AW's, MNKE's, and Pannies, and only IMR, LiMng batts. I wouldn't be too worried about the highest mAh, but the best battery and just extras, so you can replace when you need to. Some of the longer mAh batteries, are not the best for high drain, high amp applications. RTD Vapor is one of the better shops for batteries. Again, those three brands, flat top, IMR, and you won't go wrong. Good Luck!
