I bought this 1100mAh ego battery in August, its a proper battery not a cheapo ebay fake, Anyway it lasts as long as my other old ego batteries the problem is there isn't much of a kick from it, even after fully charged it feels like I am doing a lot of sucking to get a decent throat his. If I put the same cartomiser on my old 900 mAh battery you notice the difference instantly, you get a decent throat hit with very little effort.

Is there a cure for this or is my battery fooked?

I believe the Joye eGo batteries output 3.4 volts. Others can output 3.7 volts. If lifting the center post like Switched suggested does not fix it, this could be the issue.
