I have been trying to talk my wife into a provari with very little luck. Her objection is that it is too big and bulky for her. Thing is I know her and she is an accident waiting to happen. As much as she hurts herself i am surprised she has not broken a bone. With that said since one of her kangers has died on her she of course wants a replacement. Not to worry she has plenty of back up egos but she prefers the kangers to the ego. I personally think it no longer works cause i am sure she has dropped it at least a half million times by now. So last night she asked me if there was any mod that was more slender than my provari. Now i have taken time to look around because of course i did my own research before i droped the dime on the provari. So i do have an idea of what is out there. I would like to get her at least the Provape 1, but I think it is the same size and weight as the provari. Since i have not seen one in person i really do not have any idea if that is true. My belief is that it would be just as stong though. She has no desire for VV/VW she just wants to vape. So the question is is there a good mod out there that is slender? I personally have not seen one but that does not mean it does not exist. I am hoping maybe someone here can point me in a direction that i have not already gone down or uses one that is more slender that by the pictures i was not aware of it size. I just want the wife to have something good that will last her and she will enjoy. Cause we all know if mamma aint happy aint no body happy. I just want to be happy here folks. lol

well i know they make some 14500 battery ego types but i would'nt count on them holding up to abuse.

i would take a provari mini over a provape1 as the PV1 is really a mechanical. and for that price they make a ton of cheaper 14500 mechs

while the mini is still a little thick it is much much smaller then people think it is lol.

A lanyard for her ecig would be appropriate. If she doesn't mind charging the eGo and it's what she wants, let her keep it.

My wife didn't want an eGo because it was bigger than her Joye 510. I was her battery tech, so she didn't mind that there always had to be a battery on the charger. She would just hand it to me and tell me it was dead. She finally quit smoking and vaping, so now it's not an issue. :)

Let her keep what she likes. Maybe if there's a brick and mortar store, you could take her in and let her choose. Some people don't appreciate the choices unless they can touch and feel and compare in person. The bottom line is that size and battery life go hand in hand. If it's small, you will charge more often.

Why don't you drag her out to a B & M shop and let her look at some and see what she likes. The Itaste V3 VV/VW is a good one that is tough but light and slim. It doesn't require much fiddling with to vape like a pro. Waaaaaayy better than an Ego batt, and since it's square, it won't roll around.

my wife is the same way man, i asked her about something that was a better set up... an 18 anything is too big... i showed her how small my svd can get... nope too big... she holds up the eGo, i like this size... i try to explain the many splendid benefits of having the ability to remove and change the battery... now she just wants more egos... and more tanks to go with em...

she likes being able to change everything so freely, and in her words, she cares about the comfort, and the nicotine, primarily, the flavor is just a plus... (i swear if we liked the same tastes and she tried her liquid in mine, she might think differently) whereas i care about the flavor, the vapor, the experience, she just wants to not be smoking, which is fine dont get me wrong....

im chasing the univape... unicorn vaping experience, but i am taking my time doing so... letting myself figure out what i want, enjoying myself along the way... taking things one step at a time...

I found a size comparison, maybe it will help?
provape 1 size.jpg

I totally agree with letting her try things at the b&m IF you have one nearby (I dont :( ) And as DaveP stated - if she likes what she has - just let her stick with it if she is resistant to change. My OH gets whatever device I hand him when he breaks one (which is often sadly for me - he is a walking e-cig destruction zone - he recently broke a lavatube  ) So you can always try that route - just decide, order and hand it over. I would also reorder what she likes just in case though LOL.

Battery size is a factor with many females. IMO, if you vape you need to learn how to charge the battery and fill the tank or carto. I didn't mind doing that for my wife, but I'm kind of glad she just quit nicotine althogether. It seemed that every time I turned around she was handing me hers and telling me that it tasted funny or that it quit working.

Vaping is still a hobby sport. If you aren't willing to learn and fiddle with it, you will find it lacking compared to pulling out a cig and flicking a Bic.

I have taken her every store around. I like for her to choose her own flavors and she enjoys it. She takes care of her batteries makes sure they are charged and she cleans out her tanks and refills them. I make all our coils and she likes that. She just drops things and breaks them. I have no issues with her keeping any type of ego, i am just scared that she will break them all before i get her replacments and then she will have nothing. lol I have the mini now and she just thinks it is too heavy for her. She will use mine here and there and she likes the flavor she gets she just wants simple and durable. She does like the idea of the provari in the aspect of just changing the battery out and not having to carry a ton of egos with her. I got her a lanyard once, but she has issues with wearing necklaces so it was very uncomfortable for her. I thought maybe a mini zmax cause it is lighter than the provari, but i am just worried she will drop it and bust it all up.

Silly question... Have you asked her WHY the size is so important?

I ask because I am female with small hands. I use large devices at home (REO, VAMO, Sentinel, etc). But when driving I am FORCED to use smaller devices like EGOs or Cigalikes. I just can't handle the steering wheel and my device unless the device is small.

It could be some issue like that.

I am a proud owner of a PV-1 and also have a number of 18650 mods, and box mods. The PV-1 is bullet proof, but is heavy to carry around for the battery life it gives me. I don't mind carrying large mods, but also have large hands so the feel is right for me. I can see where a woman might like the eGo form and function, you might just need to keep a couple emergency spares hidden away to keep your wife properly nic-o-fied....

I agree. The iTaste V3 is smaller than an ego twist but has an 800 mAh battery.

If you find something that will work, in size and weight, let the rest of us ladies know. That's what keeps me using egos. Some of us have medical issues that prevent us from gripping heavy/larger items and would benefit from whatever you come up with. :)

I just wish the ego batts lasted longer for us 'power vapers' those of us that chain vape. I have 5 egos, 900-1300mah and they are all dead at the end of the day. Of course, 4 out of 5 are fasttech knockoffs, so ya know. But I've found they hold up as well as what I got at the B&M, won't complain. Cost much less. But I'd like something that I could hold, that lasted longer. :)

If she wants girly, you need to show her the thread showing the beautiful, girly mods. I was amazed by them. :)

If she has such a serious case of the dropsies--stick with the egos. Buy them in multiples.

I also have very poor hand strength/feeling so large or heavy mods are out for me. I was in OCD bliss when I finally managed to get the slide open on a pistol and had to try every one in the case to determine if it was a fluke--yes & no--some are just too hard. Anyway, I bought a pair of iTaste VV3's & love everything about them. I seriously doubt that they would survive very many free falls, though and I'm positive my ego Twists would fair better if my hands get worse.

I quit a 2 pack a day habit and my wife quit a pack a day. We use Kanger batteries. I chain vape and go thru 2 1000Mah a day. She uses a 650 and a 1000 a day. I got a hub-man multi charger from wally world and it charges 4 batteries. Durability: I've dropped mine so many times I can't count. I drive all day and keep it on the seat between my legs. At least twice a day I forget and get out of the truck and knock it off onto the ground. Never had a problem. And the cost is right, 10-12 dollars apiece. 4 batteries for the price of one mod, I can abuse them. And the wife likes different colors so buying her mods would be expensive.

My daughter was and is the same way. Meaning she only wanted the ego type batts and Oh My Goodness she drops things and is the clumsiest person I have ever seen. Anywho I had giving her all my egos and twists. I had forgotten one of my MVP2 at her house and she started using it and really liked it and I can't tell ya how many times she has dropped it. She uses it more then her evod and egos now. The only time she doesn't is when she forgets to charge them cause she now has two. She likes that she didn't have to charge as much and they are kinda small IMO. Yes the are VV/VW but if your wife isn't changing the clearo, atty, or whatever she uses just set it and forget it. Good luck with whatever she ends up with as long as it keeps her off them stinky ole things IMO is AWESUM. VAPE HARDY!!!!
