Hey everybody just looking for some ideas I've got an astro clone and I was gonna buy this 18350 battery for my mod it was a flat top btw that's all she had, and it just doesn't fit even screwed all the way still has a little play, a button top would probably fit better but I would like to make this work any suggestions of something I could put in there safely it's not but maybe and 1/8" off

There are magnet spacers that you can use. An 1/8 is quite a lot to be off buy. A button top isn't an 1/8 thick I don't think. Maybe a 1/16. Can you adjust the battery connection at the top cap at all? Did you get any additional pieces in the package when you bought it? Sometimes there is a little back of parts that come under the foam package in boxes such as ehpro uses. I'm grasping at straws. Others might have more info for you.

It maybe an 1/16 not sure when I screw everything down I know the battery still moves around. And no sadly no extra parts I ordered it from ft so I'm lucky the cardboard box even came with it

Does that mod have adjustable contact pins. I was going for a while with my hcigar nemesis and the smok Natural, and wondering why the batteries were loose. Go check if you can adjust the contacts with a screw or something.

It looks like the positive is, it's got a slot in it but if it is its really tight I'm afraid ill break it, I was hoping someone else had an astro with this problem, I guess I could always put one of those fuse in there not like I would try to pull anything over 7amps anyways with a 350

Mine with the Natural was vary tight at first also (as with everyone else I read online). You should do some more research with the Astro. it probably is adjustable. That is what the slot is probly for. I would loosen it up with a good screwdriver til the battery doesn't shake inside anymore.

The astro pin isn't adjustable. It floats. Use a screwdriver that fits in the 510 and press the pin down towards the batt. side of the top cap. It may take a little force. That should eliminate the slack in the batt. compartment. It may prevent the center pin of your atty. from making contact depending on the length of the attys. center post.

Awesome yeah I totally found a review that said the same, and I think it should be fine on most of my Attys cause I always had a gap between my mod and the arty I was using not making it flush which at first I was ok with but the more I got into it the more I wanted everything looking real nice and flush making it uniformed, except the astro is a 23mm and most of my drippers were 22mm but not having that gap would make things look alot nicer. Can't wait until my magma comes in I think they're supposed to be 23. Thanks for the feedback though!

Yeah totally worked and looks a lot better all flush image.jpg
