I have a black xl manual battery that I got a couple of weeks ago. It worked for a couple of days then not. I tried the adjusting the post thing, nada. The light goes on but does not work. Is there something else I can try? I know V4l is great and will exchange with no problem but is there something else I can try before I have to do that?? It would be great if someone knows something about it that I don't(which is probably alot)!! Thanks for your help!!!!!

Mine did the same, the light went out after I initialized it after a couple days, v4l sent me a replacement . I had two batts stop working on me last week, it was a freak occurrence,an v4l being so great they are sending me replacements,.
This happened after only having them 2 days. To the point, there was nothing I could do but let them know. Sorry don't know if this helps, goodluck

I have tried both cool cart and regular blank cartos. I don't know what a multimeter is and I am using the vapor king charger that came with my kit from V4l. I read something on here about adjusting with a needle?? I don't know but am willing to try if someone will explain it to me in layman's terms. I am not a techno person at all!! Thanks!! And yep I am a grandma with a grand-dog!!!

Multimeter is a device to measure the output voltage. The battery couldn't be getting a proper charge, but if you're using the wall charger that's less likely... If you use a needle in each air hole on the side of the ring around the post you can push the post up fairly easily without fear of piling it up too far... There's a video showing how on the kd's, but you can do the same with the regular manuals... Give me a moment and I'll add the link (on the phone, so a bit harder to copy and paste)...

There's the link. :)
