I love my flask ,so comfortable in hand .But I with all of you I think the ball was dropped when it comes to tc mode .had such a hard time with nickel builds, finally came to the conclusion I had to do spaced coils. my battery indicator is also jacked up never can tell if it's right or not.such a nice mod to be so rushed and to be flawed

Just wanted to give you all an update. I emailed them this morning, and just received a response. They are giving me a loner device while my VF is being repaired! I was not expecting that! At least they have good customer service.

Is likely that the brass bolt which clamps the metal washer to which is attached to the negative pole of the connector 510, is loose.
To access the guilty bolt, simply unscrew the four screws on the lid of your Vapor Flask, and then lift it.
This will not void the warranty and is an operation that is able to do individually anyone in less than a couple of minutes.
Before you ship your product for repair, I would recommend checking this; before I also had exactly your problems, but when tightened the bolt, all problems have miraculously disappeared, finally, and forever.

Thank you for the info Cavenerd I emailed VF and the merchant i purchased it from which happen to Be VapingArt. hopefully they will be able to resolve this issue for me. I also tested my battery when the Vapor flask was reporting the battery too low and it was at 4.13 so i may be having the same issue.

Why are you twisting the two? And what stability problems are you having with the ni200?

I am really impressed and psyched they'd send a loaner while yours is being fixed. Obviously that's a worry when sending a device out is that you wont have it until it ships out, is fixed and shipped back.

This is very interesting. My question is when you release the top cap, is the screen or any wires attached? There must be connected to the 510 at least.
Could you post a pic? That would be very helpful.

Thanks

Well, it's been nearly two weeks and I still haven't received the loner or any instructions on how to mail my device in for repairs. They said they needed to set up a "system to track them" to keep their heads above water once they started mailing them out. They also said the delays were due to the weather...... :/
....Sigh....

I ended up contacting them and they verified that if I carefully unscrew the top and tighten the brass 510 under fitting that I wouldn't void my warranty and that it would be preferable to having to send it out for repair and being without a unit while its worked on.

I ended up doing it and it worked like a charm. No more false battery draining on the screen.

Problem is I did it whenever I made that post and I just noticed one of the screws fell out. If I don't find it I gotta find out the part number to be able to order a replacement.

I'm having a similar issue with my Vapor Flask. My battery indicator reads a full charge all the time. I'm not upset with VF as much as I am with Evolv for putting out a chip that has issues like this! I PAID $300 ,as well as the rest of us, for a device that has issues. NOT COOL! I feel Evolv owes all people a free upgrade!!!!

As far as the Vapor Flask folks, I honestly have nothing bad to say about them. They don't even sell their devices directly, instead they sell to a number of other providers/shops & even still, when I contact them about any issue I may have had, they get right back to me, no questions asked, help me out with info, advice and even replacement parts for free.

I ended up losing one of the small screws after I removed the top and put it back on to fix this battery issue. I sent em an email asking if they knew where to order replacements screws from. They responded asking for my address so they could send me out a bunch for free with an allan key.

I am impressed with their customer service and willingness to help. Two thumbs up from me.

I am having a similar problem with my vaporflask. i have 2 sets of brand new he2 2500's and an older set of vct 5's and when they are at a full charge i get the "weak battery" alert and it wont fire over 10 watts in tc or normal mode. I guess ill be contacting evolve as well.

Yo lo solucione apretando los tornillos de la parte superior de mi Vaporflask, debia de ser un contacto a masa.

I've solved simply by tightening the screws on the cover. But I would like to tighten the screw well. You could add a photo if you have it?
Thank you very much.

I have used the EFEST Purple batteries for a few times in my VF and have switched over to the Sony VT4's but when I switched back to the EFEST the right side battery sits farther in than the left rendering the mod not powering up with the EFEST. Uhh is this normal?
I've heard bad things about the purple EEST, so I'm really not sure. I do know my bf and use the LGs. He has battery rattle, and only one battery well makes proper contact with the battery, so one battery always dies before the other. Whereas, My VF's battery well is so tight I can barely get the batteries in and out without scraping and scratching the sides of the batteries. For such an expensive device, the quality control is really very poor.
