You call this excellent advice? I dont see an ounce of advice here! All I see is everyone here calling me dumb and a liar! I will not tolerate it one bit. Why the victim always gets punished I dont know. But thats exactly what youre doing to me. Like I said, I should have listened when I was told this forum is very rude and snobby. I regret this.
wow - just wow

not sure how you became the 'victim' here - but you are 100% completely entitled to your opinion, as well as the consequences of your actions, as an adult

I really hope you find what you are looking for, wherever you seek it - personally, I have not found this group to be rude or snobby, but I have tried to keep an open mind about suggestions I am given (doesn't mean I have to agree with them, cosign them or follow all of them) and not get defensive about mistakes I may (or may not) have made - I was taught that if I am going to ask a question, common courtesy dictates that I be willing to listen to the answer... at no point in this thread have I perceived ANYONE to be attacking you, calling you stupid or a liar - or belittling you - did you PERSONALLY manufacture or label the batteries? me either - so I don't get offended when I am told that the labeling may be marketing hype - heck, i have some doodoo batteries on my desk right now that I bought from a 'reputable' source because I believed the hype (they were supposed to be 40A batteries...)

for what it is worth, please be safe and vape on

Yet 90% of you saying your "not calling me dumb" are getting quite insulting. Should have listened to my co-worker and avoided this forum. Lots of rude people on here Im seeing. How about instead of bashing me when I work with vapes for a living and know that what I carry is completely legit or my manager would NOT allow it to be sold is complete bull. Super disappointed in the general treatment here. Seems to be a lot of vape snobs on here thinking they know everything when all theyre doing is giving vaping a bad name. Ill look for answers elsewhere. Seems like this has turned into a "lets call spyder stupid as all get out" thread when I was simply asking for HELP. You have disappointed me severely.

You may work with vapers for a living but I work with batteries for a living. You were given good advice, shown a link that explains a bit why there are no 18650 batteries rated over 30A, and yet you insist that it is everyone else that is wrong. Personally, if I felt something was true and everyone else said I was wrong I would go off and check into it further. I certainly wouldn't call everyone else a liar until I knew for sure.

got good reviews, just not a 40 CDR battery...

some of the drama may simply stem from the confusion of terms here - i tend to refer to a battery by it's tested CDR - continuous discharge rate - the amperes it can consistently deliver to a device - and yes, the AW is rated for 40 MAX SHORT PEAK DISCHARGE - what tends to be referred to as a pulse rating (it can go up to 40A for very short bursts, but will consistently deliver 20A) so there is valid ground truth in both viewpoints... but from an actual safety standpoint, especially with an unregulated mod, I - personally - work from the CDR basis, as my wife is fond of having a hubby with all of his digits intact... again, your mileage may vary

Sounds like You have some real personality issues Spyder.
You should slow down and take it easy and lighten your thoughts a bit. ( Will get you further in life. )

No one called you any names , EXCEPT YOURSELF
No one bashed you , Only gave you their opinion . ( WHAT THEIR ENTITLED TO )
As you are entitled to think and believe as you like.

    You asked,,, some responded.

Did you even listen to anything that was posted for suggestions to help solve your problem.....
