It has been very frustrating over the past couple of weeks. I have a K100 and shorted out 3 Sony VTC5's and 2 Orange batteries (not sure what they are called but my buddy at the vape shop said they are safe for sub ohming to .4 ohms). I has just gotten a Clone Magma from ebay (Item number 380998003613). When the Magma is screwed on too tight it shorts the battery. I had a Patriot before and this never happened. I am sure that it is the Magma but it might be. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a fix? Is there anything I should look out for? Should I play with the screw on the bottom of the magma? I just do not want to spend so much money on these batteries anymore.

With the Magma, the 510 pin holds the positive post in place and you shouldn't need to make any adjustment at all unless the positive post becomes loose from tightening down your coils over time. There is an insulator which you will see looking down between the 2 posts in the juice well. If this is damaged or misaligned it could cause a short and is a common issue even with original magma's (ask me how I know). Might be worth taking a look.
