So i have had my Provari mini for a while now and have used protanks/iclear30s with it, but recentlly switched to dripping on an IGO-L rda. My coils are usally between 1.3-1.6 ohm and i like to set the mini at 4.2 to 4.8 volts. So my question is how come when i was running my clearomizers(protanks) i would get around 5 or 6 hours but with the IGO-L im lucky to get 3 hours on a fresh charge. My batts are only 4-5 months old. Im gettin around 6 hours with my 18490. Is it just that im pushing the amp limit more. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Yes. You're putting a higher demand on your battery.

Using 2.5 ohm - 3.0 ohm cartotanks with my AW 18490 1100 mAh batteries in my Provari's, I'd say I'm getting around 8 - 10 hours per battery with 4.0 volts. With my 2.0 ohm AGA-T2 RBA's I get about half that battery time. Rebuildable coils seem to pull more amps from the batteries than manufactured coils. Why I don't quite understand, but this is common and normal to see.

When using the protanks the heads were around 1.8-2.4ohms and running at around 4 volts. My batts are AW IMR 3.7 700mah(red ones).

So your tanks are 1.8 - 2.4 and your IGO-L coil also 1.3 to 1.6. that's a considerable difference and would go a long way to explain the disparity in your run-time. You are using less power with higher ohm coils. Baditude may have the answer for the rest of it. Have you tried using just the 1.8 coils for each of delivery types to see how much of a difference you get in run time?

I am using less power with higher ohm coils so i guess that would be whats going on. With the protank anything over 4volts is a little burnt for me but with a 1.4 microcoil the more power i give it the better the VTF is. Rocking the microcoil at 4.6volts witch is the amp limit on the provari i think. Thank guys just wanted to now if this sounded right or if i have a problem with my batts.
