hi everyone, i ordered my k100 & batteries like 1 week ago and it is still on the way. i am going to buy an igo-l and have the employee there wick it for me. my question is, will i need to have my battery and mod present when they are doing the wick? i know people use the volt meter when making the wick. and im totally new to this so i dont know whether i should wait to get my igo-l before or after my k100& batteries arrive

Usually new vapers start out with something less advanced. You will need a multimeter and I suggest a fuse for your mod, if you have a hard short from a coil you build the battery could blow up without a fuse. I love my k100 and like Brock I have a kts on its way, mine is the gold tone flat top. As soon as I saw it listed I knew I had to get it.

Anyways there are mod and rba forums with lots of info you should check out. Safety and how to rebuild there. As for the Igo l I love mine its on my k100 as we speak, I have mine kicked since I have a 2.2ohm coil on it ATM.

Have them check the ohms and also have them fire it up/ test it while you're there IMO.

I also don't suggest such an advanced delivery device for a novice vapor. You have a lot of research and self education ahead of you.

Make sure you have the right batteries for the ohm coils that you will have on the RDA. You will need IMR (high drain) batteries at the very least. Have them build a coil of at least > 0.8 ohm. Until you have your own multimeter and learn how to use it, don't build or use coils less than 0.8 ohm. Lower than that you will need special IMR batteries that have an amp rating > 10 amps continuous discharge rate. This is critical.

Here's some resource guides to familiarize yourself with the information you need to know:
