Battery life question?

What's up everyone, so currently I have to halo 600mah ego batteries, 1 900mah vv twist ego battery, and I just purchased an itaste vv/vw 800 mah battery today. My question is I have been burning through my batteries very quickly after a full charge. My 900mah battery isn't even able to last for an entire iclear 30s tank of juice. I tend to have long vaping sessions. I will steam and steam for long periods of time. But the battery is only lasting for 3-4hours. Is it the way I am vaping or do you think the battery is faulty? Maybe I am burning up the battery with how I am vaping. Maybe someone out there can tell me how I can maximize my battery life?

Thank you
ben

Well depending on the settings you are using - with heavy vaping that can certainly be pretty normal using an eGo style battery with the dual coil Iclear30.

Easy explanation - if it reads 2.2 Ohms that means you are powering two 4.4 Ohm coils that work in parallel to give the end resistance of 2.2. Using higher watts/volts will also burn through your batteries a bit more quickly. On larger PVs you notice less effect (if much of any) using dual coils.

Hope this helps :)

I concur..... at the mentioned vapepace most devices will drain quickly.... Might be hard to find anything that would last the whole day at a strong pace like that. Trust me....some days I know this first hand.

Hope that helps too

I vape about 3ml a day and my iTaste VV V3 lasts me about 14 hours on a full charge with a Kanger Protank II mini which is a single coil. For some it lasts 6-8 hours. Vaping habits as well as your set up will cause results to vary. One of the aspects I like on the VV V3 is the pass through (meaning you can still vape while charging). The only thing I dislike as well as many of the other owners, is the cheap charging cable that comes with the unit. I actually use my cell phone charger (Samsung Galaxy S4) which works like a charm. I also charge mine every night regardless of the battery level. Enjoy your purchase and you can also check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...476013-innokin-itaste-vv-v3-owners-group.html

Good luck!

This is normal, duel coil and heavy vaping reduces your battery time. If you need something to last all day check out the itaste mvp 2

I can testify to the benefits of a passthru battery. My wife uses 650 mAh Smokeless Image batteries which are very similar to Halo batteries except the SI batteries are passthrus. When we first started vaping, we used the batterys just like any other battery. Vape it down and recharge. A few months ago, my wife started using the passthru feature. We had several batteries die in the beginning (both SI and Halo), but in the 8+ months she has been mostly using the passthru, not a single battery has died. It does indeed seem that keeping the battery charged, and not going thru the charge discharge cycle, prolongs the life of the battery.

I use a straight ego style passthru in the car for long trips, and she uses her passthru battery. So while you commute to work or sit at your computer, the passthru can extend your vape time.

That's about right for the eGo and heavy vaping. As time goes on, you might want to check out a mod that uses 18650 batteries. My AW 18650 IMR's are rated at 2000mah and I get morning until late afternoon on one and the next one takes me into lunchtime the next day. I usually vape a 2 ohm single coil on a Protank.

The rule of thumb is a 2.5 ohm standard single coil with medium vaping frequency = one hour vaping per 100mah.
