If a 180mah battery lasts me 1 hour and a 650 mah battery lasts 9 hours

how long will a 900 mah battery last??

I am trying to figure out the ratio here, but it doesn't seem to make any sense

180:650 (3.6x)
as
1:9

and

180:900 (5x)
as
1: (12.5 from what I can figure)


So is my math correct? The bigger the battery gets the more time you get, but it's not exponentially bigger? It seems to peak, then begin to diminish.

Am I missing something? Shouldn't based on the rate of return from 180 to 650 mean that I should get about 15 hours from a 900 and about 20+ hours from a 1000?

I can't seem to find the rate of return (growth in life of battery) for these.

Most batteries mAh are over rated. Basic rule I have heard is 1 hour per 100 mAh (milliamp hour) as a general guideline.

Actually from my experience, a 650mAH battery will last 4-5 hours, and a 900mAH battery should last you about 8 hours.

Started vaping on my 650 at 7:30 this am,. It died at 4:30 and today is my day off so I've been chain vaping it all day.

Champions, it is not exponential. If a 600mah battery lasts 9 hours, then a 900mah battery will last 12 hours under identical circumstances. (33% more mah= 33% more usage time.) A 1000mah batt will give you 10% more than a 900, or 13hrs, 12 minutes. (I just rounded it to 600mah to make the math easier, LOL.)

In reality a 900mah battery should last you a little over 12 hours if you are getting 8 hours from the 650.

Your math is basically correct, but your interpretation of the results is not. Yes, you are over thinking it. Its all based on the percentage ratio. Simple as that.

Use 650 as a constant if you know how much battery time you get from it.

My eGo 900mah batterys start vaping at 6:30am till 9:00am next day they still have power and good vaping but thats when i charge them. I think i vape on them pretty heavy most of the day.

Current = voltage/resistance so a normal 3.7 volt battery with a 3.2 ohm atomizer takes 3.7/3.2 = 1.16 amps or 1160 millamps. so to run it full time for an hour you need 1160 mah battery. So basically a 650mah will burn your e cig for a little over a half hour (.56 hours) or .77 hours for a 900mah battery of on time. Now comes the guesswork part if you chain vape you probally press the switch on for 5-10 minutes an hour so you should get from 3-6 hours from a 650 or about 4-8 hours from a 900 mah battery. Lots of math and in reality the smaller batteries drop voltage faster which does cut into runtime and also the quality of the vape.
