Hi Syntax,

I'm having a problem with one of the batteries I received with the Nebula starter kit. The draw is much more difficult than with the other battery almost 3 times as hard. I've e-mailed you a few times and still haven't heard from you. So far your customer service has been great. I know you're probably really busy but this recent lack of response from you is starting to concern me. Please respond and thanks in advance.

Hi. Did you try adjusting the slot alignment in respect to the inlet holes? I've had some success with that method but it doesn't work every time. A more extreme method that I have used successfully is widening the air inlet holes on the battery using a sharp point (I used a knife..) to cut away some metal ever so slightly. I will check into the lack of response to your emails, please pm me your e-mail address if you get the chance.

thanks,
ben

hi...do you mean that you feel too much resistance when trying to take a drag...OR is the drag still nice and easy but its not keeping lit well? I have found that on some batteries that while the drag itself remains easy to pull, the thing just wont stay lit unless i drag very hard on it...this i believe is due to either inconsistency in the battery switches or the machined battery holes....the way i deal with it sometimes is just to use my index finger to cover up 2 of the holes/slits (found where the batt meets the cart) when i take a drag...stays lit much easier without having to drag in alot of air.

vaporme,

Another thing to consider is that the way a particular cart fits onto different batteries can vary. Sometimes you can see the holes (on your battery's thread body) through the notches on the lip of your cart, and sometimes you can't. If you can, then the draw will be easier (and quieter) than if you can't.

You can usually adjust the tightness of a cart to the battery to enable a better notch-to-hole alignment, but not by very much. It can oftentimes be enough to be worth the effort though. Nonetheless, how one cart fits a particular battery is not necessarily an indication of how all carts will fit that battery; and, in the end, no matter how a cart fits a battery, it will work.

If after getting the closest notch-to-hole alignment that you can (while maintaining a sufficient amount of tightness), you are still getting more air than vapor, then what you need to do is don't suck as hard. Instead, take a lighter, slower, steady drag - so that your air intake volume doesn't too much exceed the volume of vapor being produced. You may also want to take a quick primer puff or two - just to make sure that you're getting good vapor production before trying to fill your mouth with your inhalation hit.
