I just received my first Nebula Monday..and now I'm having a problem charging my batteries. Whenever I put a battery on the charger, all it does is blink the LED on the battery itself. Also I've tried sending mail to support several times today to get help with this issue but they keep getting bounced and sent back. Can someone help me?

The chargers do seem a little finicky. When I put my battery on charge today the light went green immediately. So I unscrewed it and put my cartridge back on it, took a few hits to get it blinking again, then put it back on the charger. It seems to be working correctly now...so not really sure. If the battery charger doesn't turn green or the battery fails to charge after 4 hours I'll post back and let you know.

Edit: worked like a charm..battery charged right up and charger went green as expected. I think the charger just gets confused as to what state the battery is in because it seems to work just fine.

not completely sure but i think it may be a bad, finicky battery...i have 1 battery that does this every time i need to charge it...it blinks to let you know it needs a charge so you hook it up to the charger and the charger turns green right away instead of red...sometimes taking more puffs till the battery blinks agin will reset it good but usually i found out that if i just let it sit on the charger instead, the green will eventually turn to red by itself (after about 10 minutes time with MY battery anyway). I know its not the charger because i have 4 batteries so far and only 1 of them is affected this way...the other 3 are so far charging ok.

If this happens, have you taken the charger out of it's wall-inlet and then put it in again while the battery is attached to the charger? Turning in a battery in a charger that is allready 'on' can be a reason the charger gives a green light... taking electricity away from the charger for a few seconds can fix this (not always, but regularly)

Another case of flaky charger here. It started when I used the charger w/ the 12v adapter in my truck this weekend. I put the batteries on a friend's charger today and they charged up fine.

Symptoms here: plug the charger into the wall, seat the battery. The battery LED flashes 4 times, charger LED remains red, the battery won't charge.

I seated the battery when the charger wasn't plugged in, plugged it in, same. So I immediately unplugged it from the wall, plugged it back in, and no flashing LED's this time. I have the battery on it now, waiting to see if it actually charges up.

I agree with Hangar. What you are describing sounds like a bad battery which simply won't take a charge. It happens. Contact Ben and I'm sure he will send you out some replacements!

Hey, I never agreed to that!

Will definitely take care of this, send me an e-mail through the site..If something is going on with the chargers though it's probably better to replace both the things or stop using the car charger..Just let me know what's up

Guess I can't edit my threads:

My charger still works fine while on 12V in my truck, but does not work at all on AC in our house.

Interesting.. Shoot me an e-mail through the site and I'll get a wall charger in the mail to you when my shipment comes in-- then you can have a dedicated car charger, and one in the house
