Inspect the battery closely and compare it to the good battery. See any minor differences?

Do you have any way to check the voltage of the two batteries? A mulitmeter or voltmeter? It sounds like that battery isn't fully charged, and not necessarily the fault of the charger. It could be just a bad battery. There's no way to tell for certain if you can't measure the voltage. Both batteries fully charged should meter at 4.2 volts.

Sounds like you need some new and better batteries.

I prefer using AW IMR batteries for all of my mods, regardless if they are mechanical or regulated. Reliable, dependable, and safer. I have tried Efests and was disappointed in them, but that's my personal experience.

Recommended batteries are listed in this blog article:

Both should only read 3.7 on a multimeter, thats calibrated properly, if testing on a PV the voltage usually is not accurate.

Which of the two u mention is giving the problem? I'd discard it and buy a new one.

I've been running efest for 6 months now without any probs, on 3 types of PV's, I don't mismatch them if I stack and keep in pairs alternating which goes on top.

Beg to differ. Both should read 4.1-4.2 volts fully charged. If they are fully charged and read 3.7 volts then it's time to recycle them.

Yeah so i charged the bad battery (Indicated as the 3.7 before). Voltmetered it and it read 4.1v charged. slapped it into my mod and it fired for about like 30 seconds total in about 5 minutes. Then boom just stopped firing again. I guess im just going to just replace with some panasonics. Anyone know how good they would charge on a trustfire?

If you are going to be using higher quality batteries, it makes sense to also use a higher quality charger. Your batteries are the most important gear in your setup. Treat them like they really are with a better charger.

Pila, Xtar, and Nitecore are the most often recommended quality chargers. I recommend one with either spacers or slider bars in the charging bays, and not with springs.. Battery chargers at RTD Vapor
