Battery problem!

I have 2 AW IMR 18650 batteries that are about a month old I got with my Provari. They usually last a full day of mid-heavy use but this morning i went from fully charged to flashing low battery after an hour and a half... And that's vaping maybe 15-20 mins...

Does this just randomly happen?

Perhaps it's not the battery, maybe it's the charger. Did you check the voltage when they came off the charger?

Nope. Something's wrong. What charger is it? Check out the obvious stuff first. Is there any chance the battery you put in was not the one you charged? When you put the battery in the charger did the light indicate all was well, for example the battery was not inserted reversed (positive where the negative end should have been) or the charger was not unplugged.

If all these 'simple' things check out, charge the battery again and check the voltage off the charger. If it's 4.2V, check it again after vaping half an hour. If it drops fast you've got a bad battery, but that could very well be caused by the charger.

One thing at a time. Check out these things first and let us know what you find.

I'm sure it was charged correctly. I put in my spare and read it at 4.1v now it's 3.9v 2 hours later. Didn't read the voltage of my first battery though

have you built a new coil or bought a new burner recently for your tank or tanks?

It burned a coil actually right before it died

going from 4.1 to 3.9 in two hours seems pretty normal to me.other than you might not have been fully charged ..4.2 is full charged..
i'm going off my setup's and batteries for the timespans..

What's the mah of your battery and what are you vaping at as far as volts or watts,also what was the resistance of your coil?

Was using kayfun with a 2.2 coil at 4.2v. Now using backup protank 2 2.3 coil at 4v since my kayfun coil burned and I'm at work. 2000mah battwry

i would say charge them to a full 4.2 if you were only at 4.1 of a charge..
That may be all it is..
