battery question

Hello, recently my batteries(AW,EFEST) does not feel like its lasting like it used before. So i was thinking of changing those old batteries with some new Sony vtc4 30a. The mod i am using is a chi you and i heard that this mod does not work well with some flat top battery causing some auto fire and so on. So if there are anyone who is using the vtc4 with the chi could clarify this before i place my orders. Thanks
