I have two INR18650-25R Samsung SDI 2 2E95 batteries, one reads as a Li-ion and the other as a NiMH/NiCd on my Nitecore charger, any help would be appreciated!
Is it doing this for other batteries as well? If it is just one battery there is a range of possibilities of what could be wrong. The top two which could be it are either the charger or battery is defective. Each of which can be returned and exchanged for a different one.
Yes it reads the same in both bays, I have 6 of these batteries and this particular battery is the only one that doesnt register as a Li-ion.
Thank you for the responses!
If it is the battery bay (the place you put the battery) which is doing it for each of the batteries then your charger is the problem. If it is the cell (battery itself) then that is the problem. Hope this helps too.
