Okay everyone I have found out the batterys i have are all INR18650-25r Samsung SDI 3.7v 2500mah I'm 99.9 percent sure these aee 20amp batterys. (I have 4 of them) I also have a mech mod and rda ready to build on.. yes I have an ohm reader... I built a coil out of 26 gauge kanthal wire
With 11 wraps.. I came out with 0.55 ohms. I called up my friend and he said it would be okay to use with the 20amp battery. Is this a safe build?

In addition this will put you at about 32 watts. Just because it is a safe for the battery doesn't mean it will be a proper build for a particular atomizer. 32 watts may be way too much for some (too hot) and not enough for others. This is the addicting part of building your own coils, fine tuning to your device.

Yes, .55 ohms is fine with a 20 amp battery. If you want to check amps drawn yourself use volts divided by resistance (ohms) = amps. So for your setup it would be 4.2v/.50=7.64 amps

So say I make a .5 ohm coil my equation will be 4.2v/.5ohms=8.7amps this would be safe with a 20amp battery right?

But if I used 2 of the .5 ohm coils I would have a final ohm rating of .25 so my equasion will be 4.2v/.25=16.8amps and that would be bushing my battery correct?

Exactly, 16.8 amps on a NEW 20amp battery would be fine but batteries start to degrade immediately and even quicker when pushed hard. Without knowing what kind of amp load an older battery can safely handle it's best to give yourself a little safety buffer.
