Hey there! SO...I misplaced one of my PVs today, and now I'm vaping on my backup with a backup atomizer, but currently have NOTHING charging so I'm a little freaked for later. I think I threw it away by accident...ugh.

So here's my question. I want to upgrade from my 510 to an eGo (I think)...I just ordered new cartridges for it so I want to keep the same atomizer so as to not have lost that money. Can I just buy an ego battery and use all of my 510 stuff with it? Is there a conversion thing? How about the charger, will it work the same way, or do I need to buy a new one?

And now I'm also reading that atomizers only have a life span of like 1-2 months? Really? I've been using mine since november, is that why it's starting to suck?

Would it make more sense to just by the ego starter pack?

Well thanks in advance :):)

510 atomizers will fit on an eGo since they're the same threading. The 510 charger isn't really adequate for charging eGo batteries, the output is too low. Also, the 510 charger I had used a recessed connector that made it impossible to thread an eGo onto it.

I've had atomizers that lasted a few day, others have lasted for 4 months. When vapor production starts falling off, it starts leaking juice easily, or just outright quits on you, it's time to break out a new atty.

If you're trying to avoid buying a new charger too, you might want to consider an eGo passthrough. They have a built in charger so you can leave it connected to a usb port while you vape, then just unplug it and you've got a fully charged battery for on the go, Joye EGO USB Manual 900mah Battery. There are other places that sell them too so you might want to shop around. They also sell regular eGo chargers for around $6 if you want to go that route.

EDIT: Here's about the best price I know of for a usb eGo battery, http://highdesertecigs.com/1100mah-ego-t-passthru-battery.html. An 1100 mah battery for $15.99 is gonna be hard to beat.
