Howdy all, new to the scene, but I haven't had a cigarette (was a pack a day smoker) in two months since I started vaping, and currently using 1 mg Nic in my juice's (stepped down from 6 mg to 3 mg and now holding at 1 mg).
I do not like the heavy/dense sub-ohm vape, nor do I enjoy a hot and juicy vape.
So, I place myself into the category of the mtl (mouth-to-lung) folks, but even there I tend to be more of a "sipper".
Currently using either 1.6 ohm or 1.8 ohm coils in Nautilus / Triton tanks.
Using Power mode, running between 8.3 watts and 13.1 watts
Current mods are: Sigelei 75 Watt TC, Pioneer4you IPV D2, SXmini M Class
All are 18650 single batteries.

So, with all of that said, i'll finally get to my question:

Which 18650 battery would be best for use in a single battery mod, plus ohm vaping (8-13 watts) to provide the longest run time between charges. [caveat:will NOT be sub-ohming with this battery]

Thank you all in advance,

My vaping preferences are similar to yours. To chose a battery, you want to look at the amps you are drawing = sqrt(watts/resistance), which is less than 3.0 in the scenario in your post. For that reason, you can look at batteries with lower amp ratings and higher mAh ratings. I have an iStick 100w and the IPV D2 (both running at 10-15W), and use the LG HG2 batteries, which are consistently rated well for your vaping style by folks who are knowledgeable about batteries on this forum.

On the recommendation of Mooch, I've been running the newer LG HG2, 3000mah, has a 20amp CDR, great battery, on my SVD 2.0 and Sigelei Mini 30watt in the 8 to 12watt range I've been getting anywhere from 3/4 day charge chain vaping to almost 2 days regular vaping. Another battery, mostly see them in button top though are the AW IMR, check RTDVapor for these, some can get up to 20amp+ CDR, even the older 10amp models are good for your needs. Samsung 30Q is an excellent battery, Panasonic makes a nice 3400mah NCR18650B that lasts a tremendous amount of time for 15watts and under, used to use these a lot in my SVD1.0's

Welcome, and congratulations to you!
I haven't bought any of the 3000 mAh batteries yet so I don't know the prices. Even the Samsung 25 R's (2500 mAh) should give you a full day of use though and the price is pretty good. Shorter recharge time too when you're trying to get to bed or get out the door, if that's an issue.
