battery storage?

I'm very new here - only one week of vaping. I've started with a Joye 510 and love it. The main question I still have is where should I store my battery? I have a pouch, but is a hard case better? I'm worried that the button can depress in my soft pouch, like in pants pockets. Is there a good thread about storage I haven't found yet?

Also, what do you do about an atty that is hot. I normally unscrew the battery and I put the atty in a plastic baggie until I'm sure that the carts won't leak. Is there a trick for cooling it down or should mine not be getting so hot in the first place?

I think your best bet would be a hard case, just to make sure that it doesn't accidently go off, although many people use soft cases. It just one of those things you have to be careful about.

I wouldn't suggest a soft case, just because no matter how careful you are there is always murphy's law.

JOye 510s are really small, can't you find a small cigar sleeve that fits it or something?

Yeah, a Cigar Tube works well.

If you go to a tobacco shops or Liquoir Store you'll find that Many Inexpensive Cigars come in Plastic or Tin Tubes.

Buy one. Give the Cigar to the Person at the Counter. And then put a Small Piece of Foam at the Bottom of the Tube.

You can also use a case for the very cheap reading classes. They usally sell for a few bucks. I`ll do it like that

I keep and carry my VOLT, in a spring hinged glasses case. Holds my USB charger, 2 batts, and a ziplock with cartos. Costs me 4 bucks at Walmart.

I normally use small hard cases (as shown at bulli-smoker.de) but If there will be any need to take a few more with me I am going to sew a special roll for them

I typically use a cheap reading glasses tube (they often have an added advantage by having a clip for the pocket. All of the other options are good as well. Personally I was less concerned about the button being depressed as I was about bending/breaking the 510 when sitting, getting in/out of the car, kneeling, etc. If you find yourself out a lot, you may want to look into a PCC or larger battery that holds a charge longer and is a bit more sturdy.

Thank you for all the ideas! It's good to feel like I'm not paranoid and see what others do. I think I have both a glasses case and a cigar tube in my house somewhere.
