Battery thinks it's charged?

I have a battery that will not charge. When I put it on the charger the light turns blue and stays like that(Normal charged behavior). When I try to use it at flashes as if it's out of power!

Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix? I used it til it needed a charge with no problem, and it is only about 2 months old. Really hoping to get it working since this leaves me with only 1 battery till my shipment comes in! Scary I know!!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks

Behavior like this may well tell you that the charger of battery contacts are either dirty/oxidized or not making contact properly. Try cleaning the contacts on the charger and the battery with a little alcohol - of a piece of very fine emery cloth.

Think you may be right.

Cleaned the battery and charger, still not working.
The charger does work fine with my other battery, so that should be ok.

I ordered batteries 2 weeks ago but received the wrong ones. Shipped them back YESTERDAY! 2 hours back from the post office this one dies! LOL Gotta survive with 1 bat. C'mon USPS!!!!!

Did you try lifting the center post of the battery, with a tweezers or paperclip?

Zotzer, yes I did try lifting the center post. Still no luck!

Mr White, long time no hear, hope all is well. Tried different carts, that's not it either. Oh well, CS shipped out my batteries on Friday, with any luck I will have them Tuesday. On the bright side I have an XL and a pass through so hopefully I will be good.

Sounds like a dead battery, they do die unfortunately.
