I remember first when I started coming here Steve or Leaford was saying how they wanted to have a battery with no LED..is this still planned?

It's so easy for people to notice and when I was in Vegas this week especially I would have like 30 people staring at me at once which is awkward and of course had to explain to some of them what it was...as much as I want people to quit smoking and spread the word about e-cigs I'm so sick and tired of having to give a speech everytime I vape.

Last week I had to go across the street while at a Shakespeare festival b/c a crabby guard told me ( while I was sitting on the wall surrounding the park) that there was no smoking at the festival. So I went across the street. As I was sitting there in complete darkness someone walks up behind me and gave me the dirtiest look. I was trying to block out the LED light and probably had my hand in a position which resembled a .... pipe or something. I don't really know. I was mortified that he thought I was doing something wrong. I get embarrassed easily.
Anyway- we are going back to the festival again to get better seats ( not under a streetlight) and I plan on using electrical tape to block out the LED light.
Oh- I did tell the crabby guard that it was water vapor but I don't think he believed me and the guy next to me kept starring at me like I was also smoking something weird.

So you really think that's entirely about the LED and not, say, the vapor? Or the cylindrical device you put in your mouth and then inhale from?

No, not entirely but it was talked about by V4L and I would prefer no bright light every time I take a puff, also they mentioned it was because of vapers that were in the army and stuff being able to vape and not give away their location with the LED.

Batteries that have a mini usb instead of an LED ashcap are already available in the U.S., but they're not the kr808 type, so they're not compatible. You hook them up to the usb at home or in the car and they recharge while you can use them.
(So I wondered, is V4L planning to have kr808types like these for now, until they build the 5volt,8 hour batteries?)
