hi everyone I just recently started using a Tesla mod it takes 18650 2200 mAh battery are some batteries that are better than the others or batteries I should stay away from. if I go with us 3300 mAh battery do I need to change my battery charger wow

Non-fake Sony VTC4's are a very nice battery. They are 2100 mAh I believe.

Changing to a higher mah rated battery should have no impact on your charger. But, in general, the higher the mah rating the lower the CDR (continuous discharge rating).

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

Based on the specs of your tesla I'd recommend these batteries:
NCR18650PF 18650 Panasonic Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Flat Top
I've been using these batteries since Feb 2014 in my Vamos, Zmax and most recently Cana DNA30. Even with my heavy vaping they last a full 24 hours between charges.

Word Of Caution: These are 10Amp CDR batteries so they are NOT for use with builds requiring 7 or more amps.
