I'd like to stock up on my already existing mountain of batteries. LG HG2 are what I'll be buying. My question...I live in Arizona and it's hot as bleep out now. I order all batteries online so they may be sitting in the mailbox for an hour before I can get to them after work. What's the highest temp those batteries can be exposed to?

Anything over about 45°C starts accelerating their aging.
Over about 75°C and you start getting a bit of damage.
At about 130°C-160°C they can vent.
At about 230°C-270°C they can go into thermal runaway.

For that short amount of time they should be ok.
