I've got a eGo. My issue is that my batteries dont seam to be charging. I connect them to the charger, the LED flashes however the charger light remains solid green. The batteries seam to charge slightly, enough for a vape or two. I'm assuming the batteries are just dead (they are 6 months old max) but thought I'd ask before wasting money, could it be the charger?

make sure your threads care clean, i use a qtip to clean out threads.
also try to clean off the chargers threads and center post.
someone once sent me a charger they said didn't work but i found that there was so much build up of dust and juice that i had to use a dremel with a wire brush tip to clean it off. worked after that.
make sure you are just screwing it in till it just gives resistance, no need to put a death grip on the thing.
leave it on charge for about 4hrs

if none of that works, hit up the site you bought it from and let them know the issue. if its not under warranty, time to buy more.

Use a DMM to see if the cells are charged up and what kind of voltage they will hold after a charge. 4.15-4.25V is a fully charged cell. It should hold above 4.10V after a day of rest if the cell is in decent shape. A heavily abused li-ion cell can be dangerous to recharge. e-cigs can be very abusive to li-ion cells and I don't think a proper understanding of the dangers is well discussed amongst the community.

I assume the eGo uses a 14500 size LiCo chemistry cell and a typical ~2.4 Ohm atty. If that's the case, then every time you pull the trigger you are exceeding the battery manufactures maximum recommended discharge rate by at least ~50% (probably more). Depending on how frequently the device is used a 6 month battery life may be fairly appropriate.
