Both sides of the e-cigarette debate were at yesterday's e-cigarette summit, giving a fascinating overview of the debate today.

If you were not there, I've written up a summary which should prove of interest to anyone who wants to prevent every current ecig device being removed from the market.

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I have read through the main article and a couple of the hyperlinked articles within. I had read before about the italian study, and I was thrilled to read your interview with it's head. Information is power.
I am not thrilled with the thought of regulation, mostly because the government (any and all) tends to muck things up and because I have no interest in having my choices taken away. It would be nice to at least get a nod of approval over vaping, but I know you can't have it both ways.

Thanks, Chapeltown. I think there's a lot of hope - as I mentioned, there were delegates from Canada and the US who think we have a really good chance of getting good policy made here, and that if it did that policy would have positive implications for the US and Canada.

The EU vote (which delegates said had been a real surprise) shows that vapers can make a difference, the most important thing IMO is actual users writing to MPs and explaining why it is important that the MHRA does not regulate electronic cigarettes.
