So I'm fixing to upgrade tanks and I'm an extreme budget vaper... whatever I choose has to last me.

These tanks are almost 5 years old, and cost me ~15 bucks each.

For me, lately I've really been into cloud chasing but not if the flavor is just whack or rubbery, or if there's a lot of spitting or leaking.

I've been vaping on the Kanger Nano with a new 0.5 Clapton coil with 80/20 juice, and truly, this thing actually puts out good at 40 watts (high as my mod will go.) Problem is, the Kanger junk spits like an alpaca, the vape literally feels like someone is blowing a raspberry in your mouth and all their coils do this, I've probably used 100 of them to know.

And I know its a problem with other tanks too - Aspire does it. I can't stand it at all, I like a non-moist vape. Vapor. The Artic tank had no spitting from what I could tell, but the vapor at 80watts and 3 coils was barely compareable to what I have now... I was not impressed with that, but I'm not sure if it could have been pushed further. Right now, it's a choice but a last resort. Good flavor too.

The TFV4 is really a mystery. So many, many stories of leaking and o-rings melting. It seems the mini fixes all this but I'd rather have a big tank. Plus, some say bad coils. Other than that, I actually like the top fill here best... the swivel top. Yep, I like the design because I don't want to lay parts on every nasty bar table every time I fill wether top or bottom. And it's pretty, and has the most coil options all the way around.

I'm hearing that the Herakles Plus is amazing for vapor and flavor, and its the current hit among reviewers and even the Black Axis owner recommended it. However. Someone pointed out how so many reviewers have been using a certain key phrase to describe this tank and I smell a hype thats been edged on by the company. I have no way of knowing if the results are there and this tank does not have many coil options.

The Crown? I'm not seeing many features that sway me (no top fill) but I wouldn't knock out a good tank based on that. The coils' juice holes look quite small for 80/20 or higher. I think this is a tank I'd have to try before I buy, but if the results are there, it is indeed an attractive tank; I like the design better than many.

So far, I'm seriously looking at the TFV4 mini BUT the Herakles Plus almost equally.

Um, the crown IS top fill. Granted it dosent swing open like the TFV4, but the top part screws off. It is WY easier to fill than the TFV4, and dosent leak. Granted My tfv4 only leaked on me once, and it was my fault, but to me the crown is a great tank, just a touch better than my TFV4.

I'd be torn between the two if I had to pick just one. What the TFV4 has going for it - or against it, depending on your point of view - is the crazy number of coil options. But there's absolutely nothing wrong in my book with the Crown either. I just need to get a mod that can drive either one of them the way they perform best before having to make the choice. ;)

I really like the Crown but I find it performs best at around 70w and at 70w+ it is a complete juice pig. One of the only tanks I have tried that never seems to spit back or crackle and the vapour is nice and thick and even/constant though. The top load feature works great for me but the fill holes are a bit small if you aren't using a needle tip. Coils are pricy if you have to buy them at a B&M as well. The RBA is similar to the Kanger and is easy to use. The Crown is my favorite subohm tank in any case.

I still love my Nautilus and Nautilus Mini tanks for MTL as well.

Lots of great tanks out there but I am pretty happy with my Crowns, Aspires, Kangers and my inexpensive Tobeco Mini Super Tanks.
