Hi All,

I used to be a huge advocate of the Vamo V3 (Stainless Steel) due to its good looks (IMO, LOL) and solid built.
However, ever since I've gotten my itaste SVD, I must say that the Vamo V3 has completely no fight against the SVD.
Seems that I've found my new love..

Guys, please share your experiences with your APVs here, I would love to hear what you guys have to say.

To me, it was a very tough decision between SVD, Vamo V3 or eVic.. But in the end i choose the SVD.
Why? Because i think it suits my need... Haha! At the end of the day, the basic function is the same:

1) Variable Voltage/Wattage
2) oHm read-out/detection

And that's it... Other than that, i think they're more or less the same, just depends on your preference for looks although the eVic has the additional function of having a software that is installed onto your comp for detection of vape rate/frequency/bla bla bla.. And it's a tad lighter i think.. But for me, i don't need to use all these functions.

My advice is, just get a VV/VW APV and a mechanical mod as your basic. After that, start to experiment. Haha!

Time and luck is against us in this pathetic country of ours.

SVD is a telescopic mod, compatible with 3 types of batteries (18350, 18500 & 18650) by merely lengthening or shortening the mod.
Whereas the Vamo is only compatible with 2 batteries (18350 & 18650) and to use different batteries, you have to add in/take out the spare tube.

Built quality wise, I've compared both side by side and must say that the SVD is really heavy and solid when compared with the Vamo.
The bottom cap and spring does not look as flimsy as the Vamo's.

Tanks are able to sit flush on the SVD's top ring and still have air flow as there are holes for airflow drilled into the top ring.
On the Vamo, however, tanks (even when screwed down tight) leave a gap between the top ring to allow for airflow as there are no holes on the Vamo's top ring.

The one thing that the Vamo has better than the SVD has to be the OLED display. The display of the SVD looks a tad "clumsy" to me.

These are the few points I have so far, maybe other users would like to give their input as well?

My condolence. Same thing happened to me.

Lucky I had another way. It hasn't arrived yet. But this time it's more promising.

I just need to wait. Patiently.

Yup, I'm being patient now. With potential arrival of a couple of mods eventually, I will hopefully be finally done with sourcing for a long time. :vapor:

As long as my curious itch for new toys, does not pop up like a teenage pimple again. :p

All this talk about mods makes me wanna start doing up mods again. Proper ones this time though, not the flimsy mcgyver one that I made the previous time. I guess its time to go shopping...

Which mod are you doing? the body? or the tank or atomiser.

I am doing R & D on body mech type. Hope I will successful
