Batts and the Segelei Zmax

Hi guys i have a quick question, when i watched the pbusardo review on the sigelei zmax he mentioned that the last vape you get from the device before it dies is the same or near what the first vape is.. unfortunately im not geting this.. i get a supper degraded performance after an hour or so of vaping when i pop a fresh battery in there though its like vaping heaven.

now i know Pbusardo has the orange aw imr batteries and the ones the device came with are the blue ones, im using the blue 18650 2200mah 3.6V batteries the device came with, now my question is would getting the orange AW IMR 18650 resolve the issue?


if so, should i get 1 18650 or 2 18350s and if i get the 18350 how would i charge them? the charger it came with is the size for a single 18650.

I don't have the technically information but I can only go by what I've heard. The AW is suppose to be a really dependable battery with the Efest close to it. I don't know if it's the quality control or what. Sorry I can't be of more help with this. Maybe a search on ECF may help. I remember seeing a thread or sticky on batteries.http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...9007-warning-rechargeable-batteries-apvs.html found the link.

Hi Eventus - the reason AW IMR or Efest Imr batteries are recommended is because the IMR batteries have safer chemistry and can handle higher drain. You need to use IMR batteries with a Zmax.

Regulator circuitry takes large current pulses from the battery to do its job, so for good regulation, you need IMR's.

I personally am a fan of the gray Panasonics for 18650s; the Panasonic CGR18650CH. They're available in flat top as well which I've heard is better with the Segelei, because it doesn't put as much pressure on the board inside.
