I just placed an order for 100ml 18nic Gorilla Juice & 30ml 24nic Bobas Bounty. I have never tried them before. I'm using a Provari with a vivi nova tank. What is your preferred voltage and resistence (1.8, 2.4, or 2.8ohm) for these two awesome juices? Especially for all day vapes or chain vaping.

I was lucky enough to order a z-atty-pro yesterday and curious if anyone has used these juices with it.

Lastly, how long have you let either of these two juices steep before noticing a significant flavor change?

I'm very excited, in a patient way, about what's arriving in the mail later this month as you can tell so I'm doing a little homework ahead of time. I haven't found my favorite juice yet but I believe alienvisions is my favorite vender.

p.s This is my first post in months so I havent really searched. If this has been covered many times then ignore me and I'll eventually find an answer.

Not to burst your bubble but there have been mixed reviews from people using high vg juices in vivi nova clearomizers. For some they work great ands others not so much. IMO I think it has something to do with wicking.

If you you dont end up liking either of the juices in that delivery device do yourself a favor and try them in something else. You may be very pleasantly surprised. Bobas and GJ are both great juices with plumes of vapor and a heavy weight to them and I just dont think that delivery system does them justice or allows for the full complexity of flavor.

Im VERY happy with them in a pyrex carto tank....could barely taste them in a Nova.

Ok gotcha, you're not big fans of novas but guess what? MY Z ATTY PRO has arrived in the mail! I'm debating whether or not to wait for GJ or BB to arrive as my first juice for the gensis lifestyle

I'm so happy I'm shaking. What are your thoughts and experiences with these juices in a z atty pro? btw, I checked provape's site and they still have some zap's in stock incase anyone is interested.

I guess it really depends on the mesh your using. The stock mesh with the ZAP doesn't cut it IMO. I would try to get some 500 ss mesh. I've been using that and it has wicked all my AVE juices. The PG juices are alot easier to wick than say Boba's or Strawberry cooler. Add a little distilled water and that should do wonders as well.

A few drops of distilled water seems to fix a lot of hardware issues when it comes to wicking. I just wish the engineers of the devices would vet their own devices against common market products.
Yea my carto tanks wick perfectly fine with any thick VG juice. But when you vape any AVE juice in a genesis it is a thing of wonder. The complexity of the flavors just burst out. Really fun vape experience.

It's stuff like this that makes me aware I'm slipping. I need to grab up some new hardware and test it out, I'm getting too stuck with my ol' tried and true setups.

So ben, inquiring minds want to know, what are your ol' tried n true setups? Maybe I'll copy it and if it works for me I'll salute you. If it doesn't then I won't point the finger.

I've got tons of gear but for my BB vaping dripping is the clear cut winner. I use Pheonix clones with 3mm silica wick and 32g Kanthal for a 1.8 ohm coil. I run it at 4v for right around 10 watts. BB tends to gunk a coil/wick in a few days but with my setup I can do a dry burn and have it running better than a new setup in minutes. I've got lots of other setups, Vivi Novas, carto tanks, several Genisis, Ody and Pene, Spheroid.....I use them for other juices but not Boba's.

porphy,

You have no idea how good Bobas can taste until you try it on a genesis atomizer. All your other atty's will end up collecting dust or be used for taste test on liquids.

Easiest (and cheapest) genesis setup is on the phoenix rebuildable atomizers. Also make sure to use it on a provari or with a mod that has built in short circuit protections.

I put straight Boba's in a Vivi Nova with no issues. Filled another with Hype, no issues.

I was running 1.8Ohm heads at 4.1V on Boba's and about 3.9V on Hype.
Any tips or modifications made to your VN's in order to consistently deliver Bobas Bounty without that harsh or burnt taste? How often do you clean VN?

The VN's I have that dont leak only work nice with BB if I use a new head. After maybe 1 session tops, I'm back to searching ECF for ways to get that taste back without buying another freaking head. Cartomizers are USELESS for bobas bounty. I'm resorting to direct dripping attys like the HH.357 but I end up swallowing more juice than vaping it.

I don't want to give up on BB but I'm running out of ideas (and money). Maybe I'm just not experienced enough at vaping to use Bobas Bounty properly as an all day vape. Even my ZAP doesnt deliver BB like it did on its initial setup. All I know is that analogs are starting to look good again.

I even asked Ben what his tried and true setups were but never got a response.

My apologies for the lack of a response. If it was sent as an e-mail I'll put my money on it getting hidden amongst the hundreds of spam messages I get through that account daily. If it came through the help desk let me know and I'll see why it got missed (we try not to miss any)

Now, how do I clean my Vivi Nova? I don't really. I use a 50/50 blend of Boba's and PG sweet Tart, this proves to be thin enough that if some discoloring occurs on the wick I can easily refill the liquid with a needle tipped bottle. By putting the needle over the wick as I add liquid it flushes out any residue, preventing future clogging and discoloration.

As for the voltage, I keep the VN at 3.7v to 4.0v (tops) on a ProVari. There's a good ohm/voltage vaping chart around here somewhere that is super helpful. Lemme look it up and I'll link it here. I forget which company put it out but I want to give them credit for it if I can figure it out.
