Might want to look into carto tanks if you havent already.Ive had the same experience you have with novas and ave juice and IMO cartos cant be beat for convenience or taste with these juices.

What's you're favorite carto for Boba's? Do you punch or slot your own or buy pre-punched? How many holes?

Thanks!

I use Smokteks pre-punched tank cartos from Smoktek.com with 2 holes in them. You can find them here Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL Right now his selection is a little limited due to holiday sales but hew should have 2.o and 3.0ohms back in stock in a few days.

I know with my vivi nova's if I tighten that top cap all the way down it will squish that little silcone cap down and make everything taste burnt. If you loosen the cap a little bit so the silicone cap dosen't get squished down you shouldn't have that much of a problem.

If you decide to punch your own, I've been very happy with Smoktech 1.7 ohm Resurrectors with 3 holes evenly spaced around the bottom. I'm sure the size of the holes are different from the cartos you buy pre-punched depending on the tools used. I use the good old saddle valve method and my Boba's Bounty wicks very nicely.

You can save a good bit of money punching your own cartos. It takes some trial and error, but I've saved 50-75 cents per carto after comparing the cost between different brands and vendors. It also allows me to adjust for varying juice thicknesses when I'm ready to swap out an old carto for a new one with a different liquid.

Also, I've never had any luck with ViVi Novas and VG. As a chain vaper, it doesn't wick fast enough for me and bunks up the coil too quickly to be worth the cost of replacement heads or the hassle of frequent rebuilds. As always, YMMV.

I've been looking into Vivi nova and similar systems recently and ckone180 has a good easy fix to the hardware that will allow it to work with VG liquids. I've experienced the same issue, now that I've tested the devices. There are many devices constantly being made and sold, so I can't test them all. This is why I advocate engineers of devices to test them on the few e-liquid variations there are (3) as it is a much more logical process than a liquid vendor retroactively finding the faults and reverse engineering a solution.

An e-liquid is a simple thing. There is a base, flavor, nicotine... only three small things to account for in 3 possible variations. With a little understanding of viscosity, absorption (the permeation of a liquid through a medium a.k.a. "wicking"), air flow, and reverse pressure we can eliminate any variations in a juice between the MOST viscous and the least viscous. This leaves 2 possibilities that an engineer has to account for (thick VG bases and the thinnest liquids available, likely PG and distilled water base.)

Maybe I'm distilling this issue down to basically...
