I have to say I am very impressed with their BE-112 (their 801) and the carts go hand in hand with them. I don't use the bats because I use the USB passthrough and my kensington at home. I have 6 atomizers which I rotate around for specific liquids. Comparing them to the 801 atomizers I received from both Eastmall and and myvaporstore (I don't know what manufacturer they get it from) the performance seems stellar. I don't seem to be getting as much liquid condensation on the side of the carts (which are also from them) and that's good.

Just thought I'd throw this out there. If you get their atties make sure to get their carts. Even though I have bagloads of carts which all look identical from various places the carts from bestecig are a bit wider and fit perfectly in place (not referring to the top piece but the base which holds the cart material).

Rexa--I would agree with you 100%. the BE112 from Best is the best atomizer I have ever used compared to the 801's and the RN4072--its burn rate is just right and does not waste e-liquid. From a constuction standpoint, the BE112 has a higher bridge for better absorbtion and thicker meshing. It employs thicker gauge wiring and a the coil is well mounted at the contact points compared to the 801 and the RN4072--IMO it is the finest atomizer currently on the market---Sun

Exactly! That part I left out, it doesn't run too hot and it doesn't run cold so if you really want to taste the true flavor of whatever liquid you are trying it does a great job.

I also have a BE112, good taste and vapor but the problem is the mic switches on the batteries. They are very sensitive to sound and vibration.

I will never buy another electronic battery ever again for any kit after using passthroughs with the kensington (bless whosever soul that was who made that huge thread on the best buy deal a few weeks back). I found this to be the only true way to know if an atomizer really sucks or not in my opinion. The only spare batteries I own are for my SD which are still sealed and unused and collecting dust in my drawer.

I went and tried my BE112 atomizers yesterday....I do this every few months....when I see threads with all these high praise for the BE112 atos. Man they are the worst tasting atomizers ever. Do you guys use the carts that came with the atomizers or any 801 carts? I am definitely doing something wrong because everyone loves these atos except for me. They are just horrible tasting. DO you guys use sweet liquids or tobacco flavored liquids? I get no throat hit decent vapor...but horrible taste. I wonder if I got a bad batch or something.

EDO, the bad flavor is the very large amt of primer on it, at least it was for me.

I had a great experience with bestecig, but it differs from all of yours!

I got the BE112 atomizers (10 of them) and for a day they vaped perfect. Then, once the primer wore off, I was only getting vapor every other drag. So, i figured, I must have a short in my battery. So I tried all of the batteries in the house...and it wasn't a short in the battery. Then, in no time, the atty burned out. I realized that my cart was not touching the bridge. So, I took my cartridge and slid it out of the moutpiece until it made perfect contact with the bridge...and I superglued it together. But no matter what, the atty would not wick. Ok, so I got a bad atomizer. This happened 3 more times (but this time, I used my modified cart each time). Each time the atty would not wick and it burned out in a day. So, I took it upon myself to take one apart. The wick was not connected to the bridge at all...AT ALL, in fact, it wasn't even long enough. And it was very gummed up at that, it didn't want to wick anyways. So, I contacted bestecig...and beci IMMEDIATELY got back to me. he gave me a site with information for troubleshooting the atomizer and as soon as I informed him that I had tried all that, without question he immediately replaced them. Now, I offered to pay shipping since he was so accomodating and I really don't have anything else to order any time soon. The atomizers were sent out and shipping info was obtained within an hour of my paypal payment.

I got a bad batch of atomizers. But hey, stuff happens. Incidently, I have found one in there that as lasted a week...I can't say that for the rest of them. But hey, stuff happens. I have atomizers from several companies burn out in a day for NO reason (on occasion, this isn't normal or anything for me)... But these were seriously just defective. Will I do business with bestecig again? ABSOLUTELY YES! For somebody to stand behind their product enough to replace my order immediately, without question...now that's customer service! Thank you Beci! I look forward to my next order with you (I am interested in this healthcare flavor).

POTV....thanks for the response. Yes my experience was exactly like yours. I just don't think my cartridges are reaching the bridge. I don't mind the primer taste....they use a cigar/tobacco primer and that doesn;t bother me at all. THe bad taste is because the atos are either faulty or there is no wicking. I am glad someone had a similar experience...I was thinking I am a complete idiot.

Beci is awesome...BTW Beci is a he not a she.lol....that is a common mistake.

Oooh, snap, I feel an edit in my future!

------------
I know what taste you mean now, I thought you meant the beginning...I thought the primer tasted like ARS...but that's just IMO. LOL. I don't like anybody's primer though!

How is "Beci" pronounced? Sorry, I'm curious now, I'm such an idiot!

POTV...I learned the hard way as well....that beci is a he.lol

I assume it is pronounced Beky...but I am not sure.

Did you try out the BE112 atos again after the initial bad batch?...if so how did you like them afterward? Forgetting about the bad taste it seems like your pushing air with these...no throat hit at all. Again I pretty sure I have a really bad batch....so I don;t know if that is how they are normally.

If your getting a bad taste from Beste-cig atty's...get a can of compressed air.(Which you will need anyway for regular atty maintenance)
I like to put 3 or 4 drops of liquid in the atty and let sit for just a second and then I blast it out with the air. It removes all the primer and the taste goes away immediately! I have had to do this many times with their attys because they use too much primer. But they are the best on the market. My last one lasted over 2 months of serious vaping.:thumb:

Hello everyone, I'm new here and trying to decide which ecig will be my first.

For the moment I think it'll be a penstyle, and everything I read about the BE-112 atomizer is raving reviews, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the batteries are BE-112's weak point, even someone saying it's as bad as the atm is good. Is that so? Can any other battery be fitted to the BE-112 atm?

Thanks

I have both an auto battery model and auto pass through and the switching is fine on both.

The BE901 batteries are susceptible to noise and vibration though.

Does the BE112 leak much or at all?

I've only used Janty 801s and they seem to leak a lot. It wasn't a problem with the Kissbox, but with the Stick it is quite messy.

Rexa,

Are the carts from Beci soft or hard plastic? I just got some soft plastic 801 carts from Ruyan and I love them. They are much more comfortable and fit nice and snug without having to force them into the atomizer.

To be honest, anything can leak. It really depends on a combination of things (which I posted in the jany forum i think in respnse to someone asking about 801 atties). I just started using the janty atty that came with my stick and I didnt' have any problem with it either.
It seems to be running just as hot too. The draw just feels a tad bit different and it's a pain to unscrew.

As for the best ecig carts - they are hard plastic so you may not like them much. I like hard plastic so that's totally a matter of preference of course. I'm starting to move towards "fluval" filler material thanks to spikey who gave me a handful at the LI Vaper Meeting and I have old carts which I can stuff it in.

Rexa - Nice review, thanks!

Where did you get the passthroughs (and cost?). Are you using a manual button type? I am having one heck of a time finding a decent priced one that runs more than a day. I had 7 manual button PT all die in 2 days from Ruyan Direct. They said it was a major problem (quality control) and now I have to send them all back.

Yup, I have bought a Prodigy PT (who knows how long that's going to take to get my hands on it, I wasn't one of the first in line... sighhh) but, I want a few for my car, purse, etc. that are inexpensive. The Kensington rocks... love them so much I have 2, but I can't use it now with all these dead ducks. Hope it works as well with PureSmoker's new one!

Also... is there a number stamped on a BE112 to identify it like the DSE801 attys? Now I'm going to have to try a few of them (thaaannnnkkkks you guys, more $ to spend, ha). I love my penstyle attys but hate the batteries and the fact that once you start mixing stuff, the attys don't always work with other batteries (grrr). Any compatibility issues with the BE112 attys with the 801 or RN4072 bats? Sometimes out and about I still use batteries so people don't look at me with the wire hanging out of my mouth, ha.
