nope - tanks - and fabulous ones at that - both have available rba heads (so you CAN rebuild coils, if you want) but they are most assuredly tanks - top fill, replaceable coils, glass barrel, fill em up tanks

U R absolutely right---my bad. As soon as i changed the coil on my box mod, it was reading .8-.9 & I was disappointed with the flavor & the vapor (yes, I'm a cloud chaser) so I was determined 2 go with lower ohms with my build & I guess I got confused. So, one more time---more wraps equal lower ohms, & is it the lower the gauge of the wire also equals lower ohms? And the lower the gauge, the thicker the wire? Did I get that right?

no, generally, yes... kinda

generally, more wraps = higher ohms... lower gauge wire has less resistance per foot (so 10 wraps with 28 gauge would be much higher ohms than 10 wraps with 24 gauge, just as 10 wraps with 24 gauge would be higher ohms than 5 wraps with 24 gauge)

think of wire as a pipe and electricity as water (rough analogy here)...

smaller pipe - less water going through... higher resistance (thicker wire, bigger pipe, less resistance)
longer pipe, takes longer for water to go from point a to point b... (more wraps, more length, more resistance)

so, yes - lower gauge does equal thicker wire... but more wraps = longer wire, so higher resistance (ohms)

Roflmfao...between me forgetting to move the decimal point & teying to build a 2.8 ohm coil & now misunderstanding the gauges, lengths & wraps of a coil u must b pulling the hair out of your head...postal worker,yes...angel,no

Yeah maybe I should just stick with my istick with the Atlantis tank & forget about RBAs & rebuilding coils...BUT...I'm too thick headed to give up & guess what? Thanks to all your help...I DID IT!!!! I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! Built TWO coils at .4 ohms for my Hellboy & my Fishbone & they BOTH FIRED UP BEAUTIFULLY!!! AND they're working GREAT on BOTH my istick & my ar 15!!! Thank you everyone but especially I thank you DC---u gave me the advice, the confidence & the PATIENCE I needed & u never gave up on me...DC---YOU'RE THE BEST!!!

But it seems as though whenever I use my Atlantis tank on or my I stick it seems to give me more cloud and more flavor but still not quite enough is I'm looking for. I know I already asked you guys your opinion on a tank that performs like an rda and you guys gave me some really great advice but it seems like the ones that you suggested that I tried were still RBA's but they had a tank so you wouldn't have to constantly drip. Is there a straight up tank with the taste and the flavor as close to a dripper as you can possibly get?
