Can we see some pics of your older, time-tested, high mileage Reos folks?

Just curious how an "old friend" might look after a year or 12 of fine service.

If they are so indestructible that they don't get scratched, worn or dinged up, then I will look at pics of new ones on Rob's website

The only one I have that shows any wear is a black anodized I got in 2011. The black wore off on the edges, as you can see in the pic below, so I covered it with a J-Warp, but the edges of the front still show wear.

The shiney along the edges aren't glare, they are the aluminum showing through.

Wow, the finishes are tough huh?! I was expecting to see a little more wear, but they hold up well.

The anodized finish is pretty tough, but with years of wear and tear it started to wear off in places. So far the silver vein has been a wonderful finish. No drops on hard surfaces yet, but it feels good in hand.

Nice lol, I ride also, I hope mine doesn't jump out of my pocket. Looks good for 45 mph! Nice machine, I'm loving mine so far.

Someone let theirs spend a few days in an icechest. No scratches or dings, but I'm pretty sure after it was dried out, new battery and atomizer, it vaped like a champ. Sort of makes you wonder what it really does take to kill one. I'm sure Robert has seen it, but I can't recall anyone posting anything that actually did one in.

There was an anodized silver one that bit it. Ran over by an heavy-load truck, or two. I'll look for the post, but yeah it was straight up twisted.

Pretty much takes the force of a industrial trash compactor to do the deed. Otherwise, I'm sure the only thing that'll do a Reo in is trauma to the 510 threads. And I recall Rob saying that he's switching those to steel in the near future.

Oh man, I'd love to see Rob's reaction if someone sent that Reo back to Maine with a simple note: Fix it.

This one is coming up on 3 years old... It's a little dirty right now, but it's almost flawless but for one tiny ding it got when I dropped it in some rocks at the river when I was fishing.

I still think a hammer, dremmel, and some polish would have it up and running lol

This one has seen heavy use for about 10 months and has dropped and hit the cement several times. You can see a little wear around the edges and of course the corner ding.
