Beau and Nick have been with Nicoticket almost 6 months now if you can believe it. We're the type of employers that believe in developing our people and promoting from within. As a result - both Beau and Nick will be *gradually* assuming responsibility for moderating the ECF forum. They will also be taking on some additional duties including monitoring the in-system messages, as well as monitoring the email attached to the contact forum submissions. You will also be seeing them much more on Olark (the on-site chat).
You may be seeing less of me in the coming weeks/months. Please be assured, I will continue to poke my head in periodically and say hello... but I will not be reading *every post* like I do presently. This transition will be gradual - aside from teaching/training both Nick and Beau about the ECF expectations, they also have lots to learn in terms of learning how to facilitate and moderate our forum specifically. Please understand that even if I am not liking every post like I usually do, I am still here in spirit - and in proxy by virtue of the fact that I will be mentoring them both on an ongoing basis.
Just as I am asking them to step up, I need to ask all of you to step up, also. Leaving Beau and Nick 'clues' would be very helpful. If you see a new face, be sure to welcome them to the family. If you see a question you know the answer two, by all means, jump in and help someone. Both N&B will be learning a great deal about our culture, and vaping in general... but save the kid gloves, they are big boys and I have 100% confidence they are ready to jump into the mix.
I feel good about this transition. Nick and Beau have demonstrated to Katy and I that they have what it takes to make significant contributions to the company and the community - they possess the integrity and loyalty you can't really "teach" or "train." They are both vapers - and have been lurking for quite some time in the shadows.
Misty has already set up Beau, and Nick will be done up before close of business tomorrow. Without further ado, congrats to Nick and Beau on your promotions - and welcome to the NuT house!!
