Wow! - interesting MM ... *as I slowly toke on a vanilla
throw away while I wait for my dinner to finish cooking*
Your avatar doesn't house the notorious "Verified Member" stamp of approval and yet you are able to
buy and sell in the ECF classifieds and those on the other side of your transactions had no issue with that.
Very cool! - Perhaps the seller that I am currently in talks with is either a tad
green in this area of selling to a non VM or perhaps just a bit over cautious.
I didn't want to make this situation bigger than it really is, I just want to do piece of hassle free business, get my gear and vape happily ever after. - Well I'd still cruise the boards, engage in some mindful posts and bust a few won-tons here n' there...
But yes, I realize that this is no fairytale and there can be thorn bushes in any exotic garden.
I shot the seller a PM a few hours ago and explained the situation to him. (Yes I have read all the posts and stickies supplied in the classified section of the forum)
I must say that over the last few weeks, this has been one of the most unsynchronized experiences that I've had in a long, long time.
Some examples (for your entertainment purposes only) not naming names, just situations:
Want to purchase a mod and most of the accessories for it in one place so as to not have 7 orders draped over multiple vendors at the same time. I know, I know, I could've just bought an eGo Kit and been done with it already which I came an RCH away from doing, but I opted not to take the commercial route.
Put in my orders: Oh.... 5 days and my order is still processing.... very nice. When will my order finally be received?
"Sorry out of stock on those batteries, but we can sell you these instead"
If I wanted those batteries, I would have ordered them to begin with. You really shouldn't list items as available when you can't produce them on demand. I know... just trying to offer the customer every available option....or lose the non demanded baggage.... uhh huh!
Some items listed (not as out of stock or discontinued) are still shown as an available item for sale until you would like to purchase it. Then you find it's unavailable when you go to purchase it in yee ol' shopping cart.
Items listed as "out of stock" for over a month... How long does it take to restock an item? - Grocery stores couldn't get away with that nonsense. I mean, can you see yourself going out to dine at a nice steak house and winding up with a bowl of pasta because the house is out of steak, or the chop meat delivery guy didn't show up this morning or stirring your after dinner coffee with a candy cane because they forgot to order enough sugar.... c'mon man! Get it together!
I say if you know you are going to be out of stock on a specific item(s) for a period of time take the damn thing out of the mix and remove it from the site until you have it to sell. - This happens more than I care to count.
I'm just thankful that there ain't no bones in ice cream cones....
Anyway... that's the basic idea of how this whole
vaping experience has been going for me the past few weeks....
It's literally been a real drag ...
But I'm a power optimist. I believe that the glass is "definitely" half empty. Just kidding.... more like 3/4.
Well, that's it for now. Dinner's done.... gonna go feast.
Peace-
