I have a cart with the BFD mod and so far it seems ok. I'm not really noticing a difference in anything vapor, taste, etc wise though. What does a burnt atty taste taste like anyway? I'm using TW vanilla flavored liquid and it has a bit of a sharp taste to it kind of like a piece of cinnamon chewing gum. Anyone thats tried TW vanilla know if its supposed to taste like that or is that the burnt atty flavor?

Don't the LR attys burn out faster than a normal atty though? Or is the difference in lifespan not really an issue?

Yes they say that the LR attys do not last as long as regular ones, but the point is you can get an idea of what it is like to vape at a higher voltage by using them.

I have not used LR attys long enough or consistanly enough to be able to say what their life span is compared to a regular atty.

Ok, so if i were to get a LR atty i would need a battery with enough power to keep up with it. I've been googling and checking out some of the links from the forums and i cant seem to find any batteries with the actual voltages listed. I was going to get a larger battery for the extended battery life but i take it that just because the battery is larger size-wise does not make it larger voltage wise. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm using a Titan 510 that i got from TW btw.

Bruce. dont give up on the 510. I had an EGO and didnt like it. It was to big for me when I started vaping. I needed and wanted seomthing that reminded me of a cig. I ordred the EGO due to everyones opinion. It worked great but it really didnt do the trick. Then I got a KR808. Thats what I needed to get off the analogs. Felt like I was holding a cig. Its just a learning curve. you learned how to smoke now you have to learn how to vape. I now have a GLV-2 and this thing kicks ....!!!! Sold my Ego. Now Im waiting for a Chuck. I will use that for 3.7v vaping. I probably wont need my 808 after I get the Chuck. But the 808 is great for traveling. Anyway keep the 510 and use it. You will eventually quit! Dont give up! It took me 8 days before I finally gave them up. It will be 9 weeks tomorrow since I gave up analogs. Thats after over 30 years of smoking a pack and ahalf a day! Im glad to say I am no longer a smoker! I vape! Try a mega battery for the 510 it may help a little. You can use any 510 accessory for yours they are interchangeable. One more thing the 808 is similar to the 510. Just 2 pieces instead of 3. Also try a cartomizer. I like these better than having to find a mod that works for carts. Just my nickle.

The titan battery that you have right now is fine to use with a lr atty. Your battery is 3.7v, all batterys of this style are 3.7v unless they were custom made for a particular application. LR attys are only to be used on 3.7v batteries.

Actually, you don't want higher voltage batteries for LR atomizers.

What you want is batteries with more capacity (mAh) to stand up to the increased drain the LR (low resistance) atomizers put on them due to lower resistance. Basically, the LR atomizers are made to simulate vaping as if you were using a high voltage battery.

Basically the goal is to increase the power of your vaping setup.
One way to do that is to increase voltage, and the other way is to decrease resistance.

If you guys are familiar with Scott from TW, i saw a video he did of LR attys and said that if you use something below the voltage of a tornado it was pointless to use a LR atty. I apologize if it seems like i'm refuting everything but i'm just trying to figure it out without spending hundreds on trial and error.
Can you link me to that video?

When I started researching E cigs, PT's threw me for a loop. I just couldn't wrap my head around being tied down like that. Why would anyone want THAT!?!?! I thought

After trying some other models, I got an everything included 510 kit that happened to include a PT that I thought would sit in my closet unused.

But, when everything arrived, I decided to charge up the portables and check out the PT while they did...and found it very convenient and in some ways ( vapor production for instance ) superior to the portable manual bats.

Obviously, vaping on the go is VERY important. But if I'm at home, sitting in front of the computer or TV, I'm using my PT now.

I have a tornado, and I have used a LR atty on it. There is a difference. I haven't seen the video, but that doesn't sound right to me at all.

Well that could be part of it, the LR's reviewed are TW LR's. The ones I have came from heaven sent gifts. That could make a difference. To be honest, I wouldn't give TW another dime of my money. I'm not happy with how they do business.

I would like to know why he's not using the cone in the video, that is a key component of the Tornado/Ego.

I'm not sure if the sale is still going on, but one retailer was selling Ego kits for $50.
