Nice! This site is awesome I'm educating myself on vaping just on here. Stopped smoking last Wednesday and feeling So much better generally. I'm 27 years old and have been smoking since I was 16.... Finally decided after Christmas and new Year I had to stop this habit. I just wish I switched to vaping earlier I just assumed it would be another con like all the other nicotine replacement aids but I was seriously mistaken.

As far as I know I have a 510 battery if that makes sense with a clearomizer with dual wicks..... I think. Doing the job nicely looking to invest into a decent setup if anyone could recommend anything would be decent.

Welcome Stone! And congrats on your switch! I really cannot suggest anything to you, because vaping is a trial and error process. What works for you today, may get pushed aside for the next shiny object. You may get into mods and rebuilding, or you may be happy with what you have now. Either vape and read on for entertainment, or vape and read on for ideas. Whatever works for you...

a 510 is usually/often used to describe a slim cig-a-like battery, whereas a 510 fitting can be almost anything. I suspect you have an eGo battery with both 510 and ego threads on it.

I can honestly say that a proper ecig is NOT a con. However, the plastic sticks you find in supermarkets probably are.
I meet too many people still smoking but buying endless refills for their "best e-cig in the UK".

Depending on what sort of a smoker you are/were, some ecigs won't do the job. A proper one almost certainly will. Still takes some motivation though. After a while, it is easy.

P.S. If you have an eGo battery and think the big e-cigs are too much (?!) why not consider a variable voltage battery.

I like Spinners.. that's what I use most of the time.

Worzel! Thanks mate. Already I have notice there is many variations to choose from and I'm gonna stick it out with what I've got till the end of the month at least. Spent a little too much at Christmas . I don't know if its purely because I'm new to this but I'm pretty obsessed especially since I noticing the Heath benefits.

Congrats! As you've found out, it's not a con; t was the only thing that worked for me, and I've been 100% cigarette free for 2 years now.

Devices... there are some very reasonably priced variable voltage/variable wattage devices on the market now, that might be your next step. I'd stick with atomizers/tanks that use pre-built coils to keep things simple and working reliably. Resist the temptation to jump into advanced rebuildables until you get through the hurdle of quitting smoking..... they can be finicky to get right sometimes, and your primary goal right now is to stick with devices that works reliably so you can have success.

Congrats on making the switch, mate. You've got something in your hand already that will see you through the transition. Take this time to research all the gear and juice. As was mentioned before, vaping is big world with many, many options and degrees of complexity (and expense!). Drink it all in before rushing to anything and my advice is to let yourself fall in love with it.

That should do ya! Just make sure you have replacement heads, and you are good to go. I know many people who just stick with that "ego" setup. It works, holds juice, and no frills.

Yeah it's a decent little setup. I'm gonna stick with it until I've made the transition it's still early days but the thought of smoking turns my stomach especially when I smell my colleagues coming in from their smoke break. I'm trying to convince them to switch but isn't working at the moment .

I think a week without a cig is a little early to be launching a crusade against smoking, concentrate on you and don't worry about the others would be my advice there. My wife still smokes but I don't bug her about it. My parents played that game for years. At least one of them always smoked and one was either temporarily quit or trying to quit.
Congrats on kicking the smokes, I don't know if you can replace the coils in your device (looks like a ce5 non-replaceable) but I could be wrong. If you clean it between refils it should last you quite a while though. If it does burn out on you, and you like it, you can go to an iClear 16 which looks the same and has changeable parts.
They make a LOT of batteries and mods these days, so find what you like. Good luck.

Mine is defiently non replaceable... Is there a way of cleaning them or not. Its isnt a major issue becasue ive ordered a few spares anyways.

Congratulations. It took me a year of experimenting with different e cigs and a setup like yours. Now I have a more advanced device, which is what finally led me to my last cigarette. Good luck and happy vaping.

I'm just a few days ahead of you - time wise. I started with about the same hardware as you. I still feel that this is all I need for now.
I do suggest backups for both the atty and battery.

I have cleaned mine by soaking it in 91% isopropyl alcohol after soaking it in hot water for a while. Some suggest cheap vodka, but 100 proof vodka is only 50% alcohol. It contains water and other stuff. My stuff is much cheaper. Let it dry overnight is the best way.
