Now for my own questions! I started vaping a week ago today (bought an eGo K kit and quit smoking altogether!) I am a HUGE tinkerer (jailbroke my first iPhone within 2 hours of purchase lol.) With much study I have decided to move up to a VV/VW and an rba. My questions center around longevity, taste and savings! Started out with a CE4 clearomizer and HATED it. Had a bad burnt taste within 2 days of use?!?! Switched to a DCT which seems to work fine other than airy hits and seemingly constant flooding! No burnt taste though, at least. I've been thinking of going with a Genesis style rba with an SS wick but, wonder how well they wick up? or possibly an eVod or T3 (but worry about that burnt taste because of the silica wicks)? What will last longest/taste best with the lowest possible cost for parts replacement? Now for the MOD I don't have ProVari money but would still like decently reliable equipment... I've also read here that some MODs don't do well with Genesis style RBAs? What are the best options? I have been leaning towards the Genesis style because it is my understanding that the wicks et al last a LOOOOOOOONNNNG time and taste awesome. Would I do better elsewhere? If you recommend an item please let me know where is best to get it, I've seen LOADS of items all with the same names but COMPLETELY different looks/layouts/specs/prices. I know some clone stuff is as good if not better than original but definitely not the case with everything!

Thanks in advance!! This forum is the best!

The aga-t+ and aga-t2 are both resonably priced, under $30, and the place where I plan to start with Genesis RBAs. Pbrusaro did a couple of videos on them with alot of good info and showed how to build the coils.

As for mods, I have a Provari, so I cannot tell you what they will work with.

Pbrusaro isn't exactly an expert, don't send a n00bie to another n00bie for advice. Go to YouTube and look up the good how-to videos like the ones J.C West makes, and look up such things as the "Petar K Method" get your information from people that have been doing this for a while. No offense to Phil he's a great reviewer, but he made many, many mistakes and wrote it off as something else in his latest RBA 2 part video.

Well, I got something out of it, like the difference between the various versions. When I research I always watch several people's videos first, then make up my mind what the best way is to go about doing something is. Also, whether his methods worked or not, I still learned what the 3 methods are, which was more than I knew at the start of the video.

I'm not trying to be arguementative, just to point out that the content was useful to newcomers, which I am too, in this case. :)
