Hey everyone. I vaped for a solid 2 years and when I had family members quit smoking, I decided to quit with them for support.

It's been awhile, and my Circle K started carrying General Snus for $0.99 and I started snusing for the last 3 months.

Well, now the snus is up to $5.50 a can, and I can't afford $35 a month on these little pouches, so I want to get back into the vaping world.

Back when I was last vaping, I had a Joye eGo and was using 510 attys.

Today when I went to go look for a starting kit to buy (I threw away everything, totally regretting it now) there doesn't seem to be a standard eGo kit on my vendors website.

I see a lot of talk about tank atomizers and clearomizers and I have no clue what they are.

Right now I'm looking at the CE4 Ego from LF, but I'm not sure if it's just a ego battery and I can use 510 attys on them or if I'm stuck using these "clearomizers"

Any info to bring me back up to date would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back!!! There is alot of new stuff out there, egos are everywhere, they even come with VV variable voltage now in ego Twist and Spinner. You can get dripping atties, cartos, clearos..............have fund shopping for new vape toys! bnrk

Is a clearo just a cartomizer with a tank on it?
Does it only last for about a week before it needs to be replaced like a carto?
I had nothing but terrible experiences with cartos back in the day....the burnt taste and smell still haunts me

You can still get the attys you're used to. They're called dripping attys now. A clearo is just a clear carto and a tank is just a resevoir built around a clearo or carto. I believe with a carto tank the juice just seeps in through holes in the carto and a clearo tank uses wicks, but I may have those backwards. I'm a dripper so I don't use either one.

Hey Welcome back OP, many changes since u were away.....

Clearos use wicks there are many different types of these from bottom coiled to dual coil to top coil, some being rebuildable etc...

For Carto tanks I'll refer u to Baditude he's here on ECF just look him up in member list and peruse his blogs very imformative.

Battery come on many shapes and sizes, from small to large, vv to vv/VW. Variable voltage variable wattage, mods with separate batteries of various mah ratings etc etc.

Have fun look around and feel free to ask questions. Tata....

check out 1357 Electronic Cigarettes at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping they have everything you want and cheap! MT Baker juice has pretty good prices.
Id suggest getting Kanger Pro tank and Kanger evod replacement coils. Its an OK set up thats fairly dependable then you can do some looking around to see if there is anything else you might like better. Welcome back!
