vape store have little to no advice, So I like the 70vg 30pg. Less sweet . Found out that pods I have been using weren’t right , so just switched . I started of with the ripper x , nice smooth , but way to sweet made me feel sick. Then, got a Caliburn g3 with g core juice which is 55vg/45pg, but the juice get gunk with 0.06 ohm, and still to sweet. And to much th . Then got a vapeesso, smoother but bought fruit bea 70vg/30pg , now one of my favs . So back to google again lol . Now both vapes are amazing so far cause I needed to switch pods to a 0.04 ohm. Now I am getting mixed on some say 30w and up and some say 18w is ok , and some say 20 is ok too , and some say 40w is best . So what is it ? so far I been just going with the mood i am in lol , which as been about 18w 20w , find 25w and higher just to warm for me . So vaping is definitely nice , my hubby loves the smell lol . another anouying fact why can’t the bother to put the vg/pg ratio on the dang bottle , lol what pain to have too google evey brand of e juice . So is there any other vape juices that be worth trying with the 70/30 . 20 to 12 nics. Oh I am in Canada. anyway that’s were I am at .

That depends on the coil and the juice. I usually aim at 3v which with a very low subohm coil can be 40w or with a high ohm coil can be 10w. Then I explore from there.myself I DIY juice so there is no brand. Just recipes. It’s a lot lot cheaper. With a rebuildable and DIY, I spend about $30/mo. on vaping instead of hundreds, which a lot of people do. Iirc I read about one person that did just disposables spending $600/mo. Quitting nicotine is my current aim though. I was stuck at 12mg/ml for a very long time. I couldn’t get lower. I started vaping in the first place because nicotine is a fast acting anti-anxiety and back then they were basically all wildly addictive anyway. They’ve got non addictive ones now though so I’m taking one and I just mixed a bottle of 2.5. At this rate I’ll be down to zero in a couple months. Then I remove the flavoring. I should eventually be done done and getting rid of my vape gear. The whole 3mg being the lowest juice sold is BS IMHO the lower you go the smaller the cut you need to make. I’m going down by 0.25ml increments now from 3. Towards the very end it might even be tenths. I’ll see when I get there.
This can be done with store bought juice you get a bottle of nic containing juice and a bottle of zero in the same flavor and mix em.

Oh, about the pg/vg thing it’s personal preference.
VG makes a lot of visible smoke, it’s what is used in fog machines, and has calories. Lots of them. (it’s more-or-less chemically flipped karo syrup) and is harder to get a sensitivity to.
PG is calorie free, but doesn’t make nearly as much vapor, is anti-microbial, and is a lot easier to develop a sensitivity to.
PeG can also be used. It’s more expensive than both of them and basically doesn’t exist in store-bought juice. People generally only use it if they develop a sensitivity.
Basically any thing that is GRASS as a vapor, and has a boiling point lower than water is fair game. Ethanol can be and has been used. It’s really too hot though. It produces almost no visible “smoke” and adding ethanol is a way to make “stealth” juice. Water is right out. It’s WAY too hot! It actually hurts. I suppose one of those sonic things could be used and then water might work. Water also makes very little visible vapor. A few drops added to a bottle is generally all one can take though. Even then it heats things a little.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Thank you , was wondering what would you recommend. I need higher wattage vape for 70vg , I have had to learn the hard way. Now my callburn only goes to 25w and the pobs burn out to fast. My vaporesso so liking it a lot but only burns at 30w so it drains battery fast . These are being used with the .04 ohm . Cause of the vg ratio being higher. So I was thinking about going up a model in vaporesso , because pods last longer, now being new I am no way planing to diy . I do plan or hopefully going to drop nic salts right down . I tired of the crazy spending, do to the lack of knowledge , that stores provide . lol anyway wondering what your thoughts would be and if iam on the right track .

Im afraid I don’t know much about pods. If you’re willing to get your fingers a bit dirty (one generally winds up setting up next to the sink) I can talk about rebuildables though

. The savings is pretty immense because while the initial cost is higher the continuing cost is way way lower. I don’t remember wher the break even point generally is for pods. I vaguely recall a bit less than a year. For disposables it’s weeks. I’ve been vaping since 2008 and I wouldn’t have been able to afford it but for rebuildables.

My cost is about $30/mo. Almost entirely for juice components. (I also DIY which is another huge savings. I generally vape about 20-30ml a day) I remember seeing a disposable user saying she was spending $600/mo. For me a rewick typically costs 1/3rd of a cotton ball. Instead of however much a whole pod costs. Premade coils are the same to cheaper, and you can also wrap your own out of wire which is cheaper yet (though I don’t bother any more) the life of one of these coils varies a lot, but for the thick ones you can dry burn them and they can last a year or more.

initial cost starts at about $40 and goes up. For the $40 option there is generally 2 stages so there is that initial cost, then another somewhat smaller one in a few weeks. If you spend a bit more you can avoid the second one, though you don’t have to and will be glad you did.
