The big CDC vaping scare caused me to buy a multi years supply of stuff, but I didn’t do batteries too because I figured I wouldn’t need to. Seems things have become more complicated than expected and ive been out of the loop for multiple months.

I need a bunch of good quality 18650s. Where and at what should I be looking at?

30qs seem the best all round batteries.
i use liion, bit mooch has a list of good venders.

How many Continuous Amps do you need? Sing;e or dual battery mod? Mech mod? Others will have specific advice for you (I'm still learning) You might check this out:

I use Samsung 15A 30q in dual battery mods, and Samsung 20A 25R batteries in single 18650 mods (used these for years). I've had no problems ordering from both 18650 battery store, and imrbatteries.com. It looks like the 30q is sold out at 18650 batterystore, but both are in stock at imr batteries. If you need a higher amperage battery, the VTC4 is a 30A, and also in stock at imr.

If you get more get a charger too. That way you can swap them when they’re empty. It’s one of the great advantages of removable batteries.

I been using 18650batterystore for my battery needs. They have great prices and selection, plus they ship quickly. LG HG2’s, Samsung 30q’s, and Sony VTC6’s have been my go-to for several years now and they seem to still be the best for my vaping style, 30-50 watt range.

I have a charger and two single battery mods. My mod is only 60 watts (current batteries are 20 amp) Highest I ever use it is 35 watts.
