Let me start by saying my girlfriend and me have been totally free of smoking and vaping for a few years now as we quit together.
Things have been getting very stressful, and times are really tough for us two right now. Our cravings are close to getting the better of us but I refuse to touch another analog. What were hoping to do is just lightly vape with either a low or zero dose liquid.
What were looking for is a black ecig starter kit preferably under $40 just to see if it's enough to take the edge off and then she will buy another kit. We definitely want something in a cig format like a 510 or something like that.

I have really no clue what to pick from but from what I've seen a kr808 is a good place to start but I'd like suggestions as well for inexpensive kits and good, flavorful e liquid with a good throat hit but not something that's gonna dry my mouth out like the stuff I had last. E liquid will be purchased separately but the starter kit should come with some if possible

Somewhere out there
Oh for juices, I love Halo Tribeca and Halo sub zero menthol has become a favorite of mine. Also for chocolate you cannot beat Begium Cocoa from Halo. Volt also has some tasty juices if you want to try some there with a starter pack. bnrk

Welcome back! two very popular cig a likes 808's are Volt by smokeless image and G6 by Halo for better battery life both Volt and Halo have the large sized batts that are ego sized. Good luck! bnrk

Cheapest 2 battery kit I've found (It's not black). DSE 901 Starter Kit

I have bought their 808 kits before, but mine came with cartomizers. I would ditch the carts and atomizer (in this kit), a get some cartomizers. Kanger KR808D-1 Cartomizers (horizontal coil)- Steel

The same site has liquid. I don't buy premade, so can't help you there.

I have other handy nicotine delivery systems that I use when vaping is not possible. Check out swedish snus, snuff, and stonewall dissolvables while you wait for whatever e-cig you end up getting. The General brand Swedish snus has been seen in several tobacco shops lately, all over the U.S. Log On

May be more info than you wanted, but I want to make sure to help all, who want to stay of the death sticks, know all the alternatives. :)

ETA: If you turn out to be interested in smokeless tobacco products, here's a link to a long thread here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...er-your-lip-your-nose-right-now-part-2-a.html.

thanks for all the great suggestions, i think im going to go with the smokeless image volt, the price point is nice for the basic starter kit, and quite a few people seem to like their products on this forum.

next question is what size battery would you suggest? the 65 or the 78mm (iirc) im leaning towards the larger of the two just to have some extra life.
any accessories i should get with my starter kit?

A Nano is a bottom coil clearomizer. This is a 510 version, but except for the threading is the same as SI.

I figured i would update. I got my volt, and it blew me away. Either vaping has come a long way since 2009-2010 or the lower nic level has a huge effect on the flavor and a significantly milder throat hit or both.

either way im pretty much sold and glad i chose the SI volt.

now as far as cartos go, is there really any benefit from using a clearo other then holding more juice and being able to see the level?
im thinking of trying 2 more flavors, and was eyeballing the $2.99 nano clearos on the SI website. I just wasnt sure if I should try something like that or just stick to the regular cartos. opinions?
