I am not new to vaping and I browse these forums pretty much all the time. I know all the "terms" and how everything works. I have a good home setup and I am very happy with my Silver Bullet. I drip, use cartomizers and the Liquinator at times. I think I am pretty much settled.

I started off with a KR808 from V4L. With that said, I really don't use those batts anymore. They just didn't do it for me. But I must admit, they were extremely portable and I didn't get as many odd looks from the cigarette style PV. Right now I am using 2 eGo 1000 mAh PT's when I am out and about. The case for these is bulky and its very long and thin. Not very discreet but still extremely effective. I hope to get something that will fill that "discreet" void but at the same time be extremely effective.

I would like to set myself up with a kit for when I am out and about. I spend most of my time at home and the Silver Bullet does everything I need. I need something portable that looks nice and won't cost an arm and a leg. I heard there have been a few advances with the KR808 regarding battery life and such.

From what I can put together, it seems like most people recommend the "Halo G6" or the "Volt" from smokelessimage.com. Has anyone used these? How are they? What cartomizers do you use with your device?

I am sure there are a bunch of other ones out there so please let me know what you would recommend and why. I need something portable that doesn't stick out as bad. Decent battery life would be nice...I wouldn't mind carrying around a PCC if it was slim like the smokelessimage.com one. If I can find a decent product I will probably just sell/trade these 2 eGo PTs because I have only used them a few times. Just got them less than a week ago :/

Help please!

From what I can tell the G6, Maxx Fusion and Volt are all the latest revision of the 808 battery, little better life (Volt is claiming 320mAh on the 78mm) and I know at least the Volt has some pretty nice cartos (you can also get Boge 808 cartos, I like the 2.7ohm). You can opt for a PCC with them (unless you get the super max size [charges 2 batts at once]) they're about the size of your standard smart phone.

Hmm maybe a reo mini? Awesome for being out, all mechanical, juice fed so you can go for at least a day or two.

It's not a slim PV, but I think they're fantastic and it's about the size of a lighter!

If what I read is right, then you already have an 808 kit that's collecting dust. Although the volt and bloog are much better then the v4l, it may be kind of redundant to buy more 808's!

Good luck

I am going to try out the Halo G6. If it doesn't work out, I will probably end up getting myself a REO Mini. I have been thinking about getting one for a long time but I don't want to invest the money into a box bottom feeder mod until I know I like it. Someone has sent me a Phidius Feedimus and it should be here within a few days.

If I enjoy the box bottom feeder mod and the KR808's still aren't doing it for me I think I will invest in a REO Mini.

I'm not sure if I will like the Reo Mini either, but it seemed to be the best bet. Everyone that has one raves about the Reo's. I have an eGo T and just can't seem to get past how finicky the atty's are. One will be spot on, the next, I can't get rid of the burnt/chemical taste. I just don't want to have to deal with that while I'm on the run. I want consistency and I'm just not getting it right now with the Tank set-up. I've got my Mini on the way but am still looking for a way to utilize my eGo batts because I do think they are consistent. I think I might try some FluXomizers for it.

Ehh, who knows.

Good luck with your search.
