In the last few weeks I have flown
Oakland CA to salt Lake City UT
salt Lake City UT to Chicago IL
and the 2 return flights back
and then
Sacramento CA to Dallas TX
Dallas TX to Los Cabos Mexico
And the 2 return flights back
After reading comments by a TSA agent here I decided I am not hiding my e-cig at all.
I have an eGo with a type B mega cylinder atomizer, a 1000 mah battery, and a 650mah battery in an eGo case with a 10ml bottle of juice, extra cartridge, extra atomizer, and a paper clip and straight pin.
My wife has an almost identical set up but with the 900 mah battery as her larger battery.
Just in case there was an issue, we checked the bag that had one of the cases with the 2 larger batteries, and so we only went through security with 2 full working e-cigs with 650mah batteries, a 10ml bottle of juice and an extra cartridge and atomizer.
I carried it through security on each leg.
I unzipped the case and laid it open every time I put the gray ( or blue ) tub through the scanner.
Never was anything mentioned, no questions, not even into and out of Mexico.
Furthermore, I talked to security at the airports and was told I could use the e-cig on the airport was advised not to do so on the plane ( which I did not ). last thing I want is to give e-cigs a bad name. I did use it at the airport, but not in close crowded areas, just out of respect for folks.
everything went very very well, was never ever questioned about anything.
